I was just leaving to pick up my 24 today after the camera recall fix when the dealership called and said the tech smells gas near the fill door, so now I'm back to waiting.

After Friday they can recall all they want, because I'm finally taking delivery.

And I finally get to pick up my mav on Friday.

If not warranty, I would drop the shroud and go get a new grommet from one of the DIY home centers or hardware stores. Shouldn't be too hard.

Spoke with my dealer today. He told me Ford still saying a S/W fix. He feels it won't be ready til March 31. Meanwhile, they start and move my Mav every two weeks.

I doubt you can keep it from deep sleep. They had to jump start my car after being in the container for two weeks. One thing to do is get a spare key made. You don't want to take the small chance of one of your originals getting lost. Then follow the shipper's instructions; like no loose items...
