No worries! Indeed, winter driving demands at least a 1/2 tank just in case you get delayed anywhere on a crowded highway. I remember those days driving on the 95N around the Capital Region, 10 MPH in the snow š® š„¶
Iām driving conservatively now that now that I have this Hybrid truck and a new born baby. Before, I had a new F250 Tremor with the 7.3 Ltr Godzilla engine and my driving technique was anything but āconservativeā at 11.8 MPG. 8.2 MPG when towing my RV š¤£
Freakinā Outstanding! The best Iāve achieved is 731 miles @ 50.2 MPG on a completely topped off tank and driven until I reached ā0ā miles on range. Note I did not run out of gas, still drove another 29 miles before I fueled up. So thatās a 760 miles total!
My Mavericks XLT Hybrid has averaged 48.2 since I took delivery of it 1,255 miles ago. I drive conservatively at 55 MPH on the highway and minimal use of AC. In the city I ensure to gently depress the accelerator to keep it in electric mode as much as possible. My last trip to the store I got...
The Ranger indeed is "bulkier" and taller. If I had to go off-road for any reason, I would definitely take the Ranger. The Maverick cabin is spacious enough for me and my family, we're not too tall at 5'9".
I guess that F150 driver couldn't park either! LOL... I had a new 2021 F250 Lariat Tremor SuperCrew and found it very difficult to find decent parking spots for it. I would at times have to park crooked or very close to other cars to fit in spots. Glad I sold it and got the Maverick!
I place them there because I now have a baby and drive slowly and cautiously. Keeps the idiots from driving too close or thinking I'm going to "race" them at the light.
Yes theyāre real analog gauges, theyāre great and easier on the eyes at night time. I had a 2021 F250 Lariat Tremor and it had the full digital cluster, with endless data availability and so many screen options to keep you busy for days! Lol
Speed limit on the 35N was 75, however the posted minimum was 45... So I drove late at night (3AM) in the slow lane 10 MPH above minimum and had my caution Red/White LED lights flashing on my back window. Only one truck driver flashed his high beams at me during the entire 11 hour trip...
Someone parked their new Ranger XLT Sport next to my Mav⦠so it was a great opportunity to take some size comparison pictures. I donāt believe theirs was a 4X4.
Iāve driven my new Maverick Hybrid from San Antonio to Dallas and achieved 55.8 MPG average on the way there while driving at 55 MPH max. On the return trip my mileage dropped to a 50.2 average for the entire 591 mile trip. My bed, back seat, and front passenger seat areas were fully loaded with...
