I feel you. I went from a F250 Tremor with the Godzilla 7.3 liter engine to the Maverick Hybrid… and that Tremor definitely towed!!!

So today I parked next to the Ram 2500 Power Wagon with the 6.4 L Hemi! And it dwarfed my little Maverick 😂 The bed of that truck was as tall as the cab of my Maverick 😂 insane! Surely don’t want to run into one ☝️ f these monsters 🤣 the Power Wagon however did look beautiful in “velocity blue”.

Awesome 👏 thanks for the research, and willingness to run it dry. I have the hybrid as well and on a long trip I decided to run it until “0” plus 22 miles more but didn’t run out… and when I filled up it took 17.04 gallons!

Excellent mileage BAScott62 !!! I’ve achieved over 731 miles per tank, drove it until “0” miles to empty… and still was able to drive another 22 miles to the gas station.

Great pics! Nice looking color! Thanks for posting! The mark up is not as crazy as they are around San Antonio... a Ford dealer wanted $8,000 over sticker on one like it. I waited almost 12 months to get my XLT Hybrid, worth the wait. Nevertheless any mark up is not justified on the cheapest...

I’m in San Antonio Texas, so the temperature doesn’t get as cold. We’re in the 40’s now… freezing… lol. I’ve turned on my heater twice so far, so it could be the heater uses the engine coolant water to heat up the cabin. Thus, the engine needs to start running as soon as I turn the heater on...

I expe I experienced a similar situation when I drove my Maverick Hybrid 29 miles past the “0” range. I filled up all the way until it was topped off completely (a dozen clicks about) and put 17.04 gallons.

When I calculated the actual pump mileage to gallon I get about 2-3 MPG less.

BTW, your Maverick in your profile picture looks like it’s “Race Red”… that color is my favorite but it wasn’t available when I ordered mine.

Yes, I liked Sports mode too on my F250… I haven’t tried it on my Maverick yet though, lol
