I installed the Rival on my 24 Hybrid, and did not have the issues you had. I imagine the hybrid vs EB makes a difference.
I also installed the Valvo-Max drain plug system, and that will make oil changes easy.
Having to remove the entire plate would negate the advantage of having the plate. Less...
I installed the medium bright lights in my 24XLT Hybrid.
I noticed this morning, now that it is getting daylight later, that I almost do not need the backup lights, because the taillights are so bright.! Happy with the HP11 bulbs.
I installed resistors, haven't tried to use Forscan yet, but...
I used Diode Dynamics taillight, turn bulbs.
I mounted the resistors on the wall behind the taillights. Kinda hard to get the screws in because of the depth of the area, but used a long screwdriver bit to reach.
I also made my own harness connectors, I don't use those 'scotch lock' type...
I just replaced the rear brakes on my wifes Subaru Crosstrek at 35000 miles.
The dealer originally told her about it, I confirmed that they were shot.
The fronts are still good. My wife is also a last second-braker.
Grabber Rick, mine does the same.
I thought since I never put any miles on trip 2, only trip one needs to be reset, so it doesn't give you a chance to reset a trip with 0 miles on it?
Back on topic, just take the truck back to the dealer, with your service manual, and have them do the job correctly. You will never know the difference as is, but it would be a piece of mind thing to me.
And make sure to be specific when/if you go back next time.
Good luck.
Man, if thats all you got, I would hate for my wife to know how much stuff I have added.:fingerscrossed:
When she sees a package, I tell her because I am saving so much money on gas, I have more to spend on new stuff.:crackup::crackup:
Wow, old thread comes to life!
My profile pic is my 2003 ST, and 2024 XLT Hybrid Mav. Loved the ST, but the 14mpg was killing me.
My wife's comment when I took this pic was that the Mav looks like the ST. They look similar, but the 40+mpg is the winner in my book.
My 24 XLT remote start is my best friend.
After work on these hot days in Fl, just give it about 5 minutes before I get in, its nice and cool for the ride home.
