Yes the tpms goes to sleep after a time (I think the "let air out of tire" programming procedure states completion in 20 minutes of truck being moved). But since truck can be remote started with the app perhaps the request through the app responds with whatever is asked for with the lastest...
So, I'm older retire..eeee. how much for a phone setup for plug and play with online updates? I might have old phone but wouldn't be against buying a econo new phone to get new batteries if necessary. I had a distant friend years ago who didn't worry about cell data usage. He signed up for...
They did a good job on the electric motors sizing them small to save materials armature to save size of permanent magnets and winding the copper with square wires (I think I read saving 15% of copper needed) and increasing rpm to increase capacity. Figured out improving design of magnets to...
Again... Holding the wheel straight with both hands presumably without any swerving or lane changing doesn't eliminate the drift it just reduces the pressure on the wheel necessary (apparently) to correct the drift. My dealer just installed one of the "diagnostic archway" in the check in lane...
It appears that it does have some kind of memory setting that doesn't eliminate the drifting but seams to take less pressure on wheel to correct the drift. Just guessing but do not expect any change in tire wear or alignment. Will have to see if I can detect any improvement or none on road...
The ice will rev up WITHOUT GAS OR SPARK COMPRESSING AIR TO BRAKE!!! It will only do so for a time and will add gas and spark as needed. The oil pump is working while ice is compressing air.
Apparently the 45 second drifting management procedure is to set the amount of steering torque applied to assist driver. After setting mine I can now drive on that section of road with that crown by pinkie finger steering. I assume that I may have to 45 second reset for a different road...
Couple years ago there was more than one thread RE: "Alignment issues" at least one had custom modifications for rear end alignment if I remember correctly. I'll see if I can find it???
I interpret the statement about how the compensation works being that the truck only compensates for drift when over 25 mph AND BOTH HANDS ARE ON THE WHEEL. Not just during the 45 second time which figures out the amount of compensation is necessary. I would suggest checking tread depth...
I also have had two brain surgeries BUT have NO depth vision problems. The squareness of the maverick and the flatness of the hood makes it difficult to know where the front of the truck actually is. When parking in my garage I hung a "stress" squeeze ball from the ceiling and stop when ball...
The implication is that if you set the tpms with 35 psi and my low tire comes on at 26, I wonder if I set my tpms with 40 psi in tires will my low tire light up on dash at 40-9=31psi???. Have to put that on my to do list, I guess....
There is a manual reset procedure. See manual. Drive truck around block to turn on TPMS Then within 15-20 minutes you turn accessory on & off several times get "tpms reset msg" on dash then starting with drivers front let air out of tire until horn Toots (about 9 lbs, if I remember correctly)...
