I'm pretty sure mine came from a totaled Mav. If the module communicates and is able to complete the calibration, I don't see how there could be a problem. It's all solid state computer chips anyways, so unless the module itself is damaged, It's unlikely that something could be knocked loose or...
Mine just followed the existing harness under the coolant reservoirs and down to the front of the passenger wheel well. From there it's easy to run it across to the bumper. This is assuming you have removed the bumper cover and other panels as described in the original post.
Unrelated, but if...
I think the gauge on the dash just reads the engine coolant temperature. The battery coolant is on a separate loop with it's own heat exchangers. If I had to speculate, I would guess that your dealer did something with the repair where the coolant slowly leaked out or wasn't flowing correctly. A...
It's the key for me. My last car was a 2011 Infiniti that I drove for 8 years with a push button start and keyless entry. I still keep putting the key in my pocket after I lock the house and then immediately fish it back out to get in the truck. That and the adaptive cruise control had me really...
I'm pretty sure there are two Lariat grills. One with the cutout for the CCM and one without. I think if you have a plain Lariat one, it will still need to be cut in a similar way. I speculated earlier that it might be easier than an XLT, but I don't really know.
Plus there definitely wouldn't be a factory procedure for installing it. Maybe the tech will read this thread and download Forscan on a dealership laptop? Will they populate the factory connectors? Will they hack the grill with a Dremel? How would it be warrantied? So many questions about this.
I added it to my XLT with CP360. The modification would be functionally the same for a lariat without CP360 assist, or any trim/options really. It just changes some of the programming codes, but all Mavericks have the lane centering camera, computer, and software. To get ACC you just have to add...
Check your VIN here for a recall alert:

It's not ALL hybrids in the date range. It's probably mostly 2022 with early 2023 and sporadic later 2023 VINs.
For what it's worth, the NHTSA documents explicitly state than nobody has been injured or killed due to the issues that prompted both of these recalls.
Just chiming in to reccomend the Ruffwear Dirtbag. It's more expensive at around $90 but is made with some heavy rubberized ripstop style material and seems durable. It has slots for seatbelts and tabs that push in between the cushions to hold it firmly in place.
The criteria is the date the engine was built, so there are likely vehicles built on the same date which are included and excluded in the recall. It just seems that they know for sure that no recalled engines were used after May 18 and they have the list of all VINs which had affected engines...
All the documents can be found on the NHTSA page here under campaign 23V380000 :

Documents are on the NHTSA website now. Notable info: 35,501 Mavericks affected:

My interpretation is that they are addressing the crankshaft machining issues...
