My 25 Hybrid updated overnight. Parked the truck with 30 miles to empty.
Started it today and it was only 6 mte. Drove it for 22 minutes, and the ICE engine never shut off until I turned it off to fill it. Was 27 mpg to the station.
Never had the engine run so long on a local flat drive...
Both mine were XL, love the black seats. Nothing I miss really. My 23 had $1,500 in options, my 25 has $4,250 in options. Added my own taste in wheels. Don't care for any of the factory wheels.
Definitely the Hybrid again. The updated Hybrids are much stronger than earlier years, with the same mileage and AWD/4K capability. I already have hot rods, so no need with the Maverick. If they offered a factory 2.3 that could be tuned to 360-400HP I might go that way, but We've had a 2.0...
I Remember when having 550HP was considered fast. I still have this one.
But my 18 GT puts out almost double the HP.
Things are just different now. My son's GT500 is stock, since he's in Commiefornia.
Sorry, non ethanol won't work without spending $10+ a gallon for race gas. My entire fuel system has been replaced with parts designed for E85. An old shade tree mechanic probably wouldn't understand. This is how most do it now. I can't even buy ethanol free gas in my area.
