Back to this topic. On a Maverick, you wouldn't mount the ball as far forward as on a Super Duty. Remember, we are talking about a 2,600# fifth wheel with a 400# pin weight. Not a 10,000 pounder with an 1,800# pin weight. Even with the trailer loaded, you would be well under half of the bed...
This is just now being a thing. Way after all the rear end accidents reported in the first 2 years. Ford did have a recall to fix defective lights. I found by using low, most people leave more distance. Maybe assuming the brake lights don't work. We have been slowing down with manual...
Magnetic mount in the middle pic will dent your gate if opened. Snow/ice has done it. Bad idea.
Bottom limits bump step or hitch use. OK if you don't have either.
Factory is best. Train your OCD.
They have redesigned the layout, and production processes. 4,000 less feet of wiring. Simplified everything. But will not be more stripped down than the Maverick.
Which is why they called it the "Model T" moment. Model T was the car that became affordable for everyone. It was the first car to...
At least everyone who posted so far did. I won't add one, because I have seen too many posted that broke the first week. I don't just drop my gate either. I was taught how to lower tailgates in the late 70's as a teenager.
I have 235/65/18's, so mine is lifted by 3/4" all around. I will not raise the front though. Would consider lowering the back close to level, or a minor drop all around. With my bad knee a lift is not a good idea.
I bought my 25 in April.
