Maybe this is why Ford didn't offer AWD on the Hybrid to start?
Not worth it.
I'm sure a set of winter tires will serve you fine in snow/ice conditions.
Are the front grills the same in size? Do they interchange between the 25 and 22-24?
I can't tell from the pictures but they look to be the same shape/size
Never mind, no crossbar on the 25....not sure how I missed that. DOH!
I have mixed feelings on the 2025. I actually don't think the front end looks as offensive as it did when the first pics came out so that is good. Not sold on the increased digital dash and lack of the physical buttons for the climate control. I think its a step backwards as is the whole digital...
Ben's reviews really are very basic, more just a quick drive around the block and quick review. Kind of like a preview for a more in-depth review from another Youtuber. I laugh everytime he talks about acceleration or handling while going 25mph.
That said, I love the green as I'm...
This reminds me of the old Audi 5000 unintended acceleration debacle from the 80's. Never mind the engine can't overcome the brakes, people were convinced their Audi's accelerated with them fully on the brake...even got a 60 min piece on it. All to be proven it was operator error. The driver...
I'd agree to a point as IMO you need to look at it from the perspective of a $20K vehicle, so I'm OK with the interior materials. My wife is not and 100% feels its cheap and overpriced at our out the door $30K XLT w/lux. So depends upon your view and what you're use to I suppose.

More so the electric AC compressor can spin up faster.
" Since the electric compressor speed is not tied to engine speed, it can provide maximum performance at any engine speed, unlike the belt-driven compressor. The capacity can be controlled to match the cooling demand, providing optimum...
I test drove a Lariat first...loved the interior look except the vinyl seats which got smoking hot in the Atlanta summer heat, so XLT cloth seats became the choice for me. Only thing I knock on the XLT is the stereo/infotainment. Ford should have offered an option to upgrade it to the B&O system.
The AC in the hybrid starts cooling almost immediately too. Much faster than my other gas only vehicles...which is very nice here in Atlanta during the summer.
Well actually the suburbs of Atlanta...but I will agree in that Atlanta has deteriorated over the years sadly.
My '24 must be a good one or Ford has worked the bugs out as I've had no issues in almost 14K miles to date. Still early, but I'll bet less troublesome than that turbo 4/8-speed combo...
Hybrid Mav for the win here. No lag off the line with the electric motor helping, no start-stop bs, Plus 50mpg's. No idle vibration/engine noise sitting in traffic or a drive though line. You shouldn't even consider the Ecoboost unless given to you.
Ford, it was ordered through a dealer, but due to delay in production, like many others Ford provided me price protection when I placed the order which was for a 2023. Dealer got their money, Ford took the hit, but you and I both know Ford didn't lose money selling a 2024 to me for $3,400 less...
Ford sold me a 2024 for 2023 pricing...,and I'm sure they didn't lose money on the sale, so I'm sure they could throw 3-4K for a rebate and still make money
Let's all keep in mind the Maverick is Ford's entry level car...just in pickup guise. So it should be priced as a compact car and now Ford has priced it more like a Camry than a Corolla. Add the high inflation that is still present...sorry 2+% is still too high and salary increases have not kept...
You also will have savings from not have to insure it or get a tag. Its very rare to end up on the positive side after buying a vehicle...especially if not really using it. Sell, Sell, Sell IMO.
