The PDI does not take that long and most dealers can have it done within 1-2 days from arrival. Just get in touch with your sales person and they should be able to tell you when it will be ready.
Also don't rely on the Ford tracker website for the "Final Preparation" to show as completed on...
The "Scheduled Week of" date is usually pretty accurate. The Maverick is normally built any day that week and shipped by the end of the same week or worst case early the next week.
Since there are so many orders going to the body company for the bed liners and accessories there will be a big...
The build week 11/13 orders are having some kind of hold up. Orders have been sitting at the received from body company status for several days now.
Does anyone have a factory contact that could give some insight?
It seems like production is running behind by a week or two. I think the current wave of scheduling was mostly Lariats so there is probably a hold up for the SIBL and accessories to be put in.
Congrats on finally getting your Hybrid!
I don't know how accurate this is, but I was told that the private offer certificate in Smart Vincent is tied to a VIN number. If you ordered more than one 2024 Maverick then the certificate would only apply to a specific one. Since you have two...
It sounds like your dealer sucks or is playing games. Did Ford marketing confirm your priority is what the dealer is telling you?
Did you ask how many roll overs they have from 2023 and how many allocations they are getting per month?
Everyone who has experienced an issue with the camera freezing or lagging should report it on the NHTSA website. If there multiple reports of the same issue then Ford will investigate and fix it.
Did the sales guy give you the VIN number? If you have the VIN then you can go to the Ford order tracker website and enter your Order Number & VIN and it should show you that it is scheduled for production with a build week.
Typically Ford allocates builds for dealer stock at the beginning and the end of the MY production.
As the MY23 has finished and MY24 started, you will start to see MY23 and MY24 Mavericks arrive on dealer lots that have a blue window sticker.
How many rollovers does your dealer have? If they have received enough allocations to cover the rollovers then they should all be scheduled already, except from any orders that have constraints.
Due to dealer allocations, there is bound to be rollovers waiting into next year to get scheduled.
Also, out of those ~25k builds we don't know how many will be allocated to retail orders and how many will go to fleet or dealer stock orders.
Wow that's quite a long time to pass since the modules were activated. There must be a big line of Lariats waiting to have the spray in bed liner done. Ask Ford for the secondary status to see what it's waiting for.
I'm guessing that the SIBL at the body company is not done in any particular...
It looks like that it has just come back from the place that does the spray in bed liner and bed rail install. It should update to shipped in the next couple of days.
For the 2023s the time between built, at the body company, then shipped was not that long as most of the orders did not have bed...
It sounds like a dealership employee bought it and flipped it back to the dealership and made some $$$$ in the process.
The dealership then listed and sold it to you as a Used vehicle with 50 miles on it and a $10k markup. That would also explain the "title issues". There probably wasn't any...
