When I did my rears, I unbolted the power E-brake modules off the callipers and manually screwed the apply screw back, compressed the callipers and reinstalled the modules. I didn't mess with the Brakes service crap at all and they work just fine with no codes or warning lights!
The rear callipers look just like the ones on my 2015 Subaru and they always seemed to drag. My opinion is I suspect that they don't back off as much, I could be wrong...
At 47k my front pads are still almost full thickness. I just had to replace the rears with less than 2mm left on them. The electric E-brake seems to cause them to drag and wear much the than the fronts
Will the LoBo callipers and rotors bolt on and fit the 22 AWD FX4 uprights? Do you need a different master for the 2 piston callipers? Awesome work by the way!!!
The AC is used to dehumidify the air before it gets heated to speed up defog/avoid fogging. Especially beneficial on those chilly mornings when the outside humidity is high. This is fairly universal with automatic climate systems.
I have a Lariat and every once in a while, I get that same issue where the speed jumps around but not too often. What happens more often to me is it shows my car driving through the fields several hundred feet to the right or left of the actual highway. This confuses Waze and it’s trying to get...
Skelnek Ford in Lake Orion, MI has a great Mobile Service Tech! Always a pleasure working with them on my mobile service experience!! Oil and maintenance services and SW up dates at a great price!
I took your link to the print file and had a friend make them. They turned out wonderful and look like they will fit perfect. I will install them on my next oil change. I'll post pics when I install them.
Are these Bilsteins to improve off-road control? The stock shocks are awful on washboard roads and potholes. I completely compress the front struts so hard on them that it turns on the wipers!
Has anyone found a good front strut for dirt roads/off roading? When I hit larger pot holes or bumps the front suspension bottoms out so hard it turns on the wipers!!
I have the Ford part I installed with just the tape 2 years ago and it is still tight. I have the Ford trifold tonneau cover and it fits perfect. I also go through carwashes a few times a month.
You want narrower tires if you're driving in a lot of snowy conditions. They will get down to the road better. Wider tires will tend to have the snow pack under the tread and have worse traction.
I live in Michigan were we have a mix of precipitation so I don't skimp on wiper blades. When I plugged in my Maverick on Amazon, it listed these Rain-X blades in 22" and 21" for $36. they fit perfectly and were easy to install.
