Keeping with my frontier,diy mentality I bought a roll of thick clear door edge/sill tape and cut my own. I also used it for laying a strip on the tailgate, on the bottom edge that gets beaten up when loading and unloading things. Simple but gets the job done.

yep- I get the higher revs too when I’m pulling my boat and use tow mode. I have a long and steep hill I travel with my rig and using tow mode on the 40mph descent leads to revs around the 3700-4000rpm range. Kind of annoying.
