Great story! We need to hear these. I would like to believe the slimy salesmen and dealers are the minority and there are many other "Tommy's" out there looking out for their customers. Thanks for your report. Best wishes with your Maverick! 😊
Corwin looks to be tacking on a $500 "Market Adjustment Fee" to the vehicles on their website. I hope they're not doing that to customer-ordered vehicles.
"Texas Protection Package?'" Makes me laugh the terms they will use to make it sound like they're "giving" you something special. :poop: (That you get the "privilege" of paying for.) Wasn't the "Texas Protection Package" what Santa Anna gave the Texans defending the Alamo?
The only Kuna I know is Kuna, Idaho and since I'm in Meridian that makes you a "local." I have yet to see a Maverick "in the wild" but now that I see how distinctive yours is I will know it if I see it for sure. Should I ever get my Maverick I may have to get with Creative Wraps. Thanks!
Did you order the graphics from somewhere or was this all DIY? I'm hoping to find someplace that might create something for me in a dark Hunter Green color as a way to bring out some of the green shades on a Cactus Gray Maverick.
I like it! Were these graphics you ordered from somewhere pre-designed or did you somehow do this yourself? If the latter, what products did you use and how did you design it?
I may need to take a break from this site. I look at it way too much already an am just reading too many stories of dealer markups, extras added to vehicles that weren't requested, things that have failed on new trucks and other dirty dealings.
I need some reassurance that good honest dealers...
A blue plastic tarp and a couple of bungee cords would work and be cheaper still, 😃 but I want something more secure and elegant and expect to pay more for it.
Dealers can and will charge whatever they want for a vehicle. We understand "Suggested" and that a dealer may choose not to adhere to the suggested price. The problem comes when customers orders a vehicle, the price is written down and signed, and then the dealer increases the price when the...
My hybrid order wasn't placed until Oct. 25 so I'm not expecting to even get a VIN for a while. Would there be any advantage to dropping my SIBL at this point? Might that move me up in line that much?
I like the "Minty" tones as some are calling it. If mine ever comes I think I will see if I can find some dark forest green stripes and Maverick lettering to help play up the green tone.
It's the dealers who need to sign a no resale agreement. Vehicles which are not sold to the original customer who ordered them can only be sold by the dealer at that same price with no additional markup. This would give the dealer no room for jacking up the price and would also prevent dealers...
I had a Roll N Lock on a Frontier years ago. I liked the cover but it took quite a bit of room at the front of the bed for the canister. Not sure for an even smaller bed on the Maverick I'd want to give up this space. It also wasn't something you'd want to take off once it was installed.
