    im in west central iowa with a forscan. its so cheap. you would be further ahead to buy the dongle, then use your own laptop. took me 5 minutes once i got the login stuff from the forum.

    or get a truck thats not at or over max capacity. or a smaller camper. just cuz you can, doesnt mean you should. yeah yeah blah blah it felt safe. if you are in an accident while being over weight, no matter who was at fault you will get fined heavily.

    is this your first vehicle? once a vehicle gets to operating temp, unless there is a malfunction the ecm will set the gauge at a certain point and it wont change. if it moved for every degree, then people would complain that it fluctuated too much. if its within the operating range its fine...

    its a car with a pickup bed. its going to handle like a lightly stiff car. its not going to handle like a f250.

    if you are buying a tow dolly, they already have lights on the fenders. its all you "legally" need. more is advised. yes their are companies that make a kit that lets you use your factory taillights when being towed. look at what people use when flat towing. same concept.

    grabby brakes are from metallic pads that ford ships the mav with. switch to ceramic. Always get ceramic pads. any thing else is garbage.

  16. Brake pad replacement

    ceremics are 10 times better than metallic or semi-metallic pads. why any company still makes those garbage pads is beyond me. and shame on ford for using them. i got mine from oriellys. have been on for over 11000 miles. no dust on my good wheels and shorter stopping distance.

    all fords come with metallic brake pads. extremely bad choice when just about every other company has ceramic pads. metallics squeal, have lots of brake dust, and dont last as long. very first thing i did was toss those crap pads in the trash. Ford pull your heads out your butt.

    the only time you need to press the brake to start a newer car is when the have keyless ignitions.
