not insulting other members, just a general observation. i have seen people do it. its dangerous.
running all seasons(actually 3 season tires) in the winter isnt the best idea in northern climates. cold hardens tire rubber. a snow/winter tire is designed to stay soft in the cold, along with...
does about the same as every other fwd/awd car on the market.
TIRES make HUGE difference in snow performance.
running summer tires in winter is just a dingus move.
yep, first ford. so far its love hate. i came from toyotas and hondas. if toyota or honda made a little ute i would have got one. the ridgeline isnt ute in my opinion. my 2nd mav will be instantly switched to ceramic pads. i HATE brake dust and squeals.
imports that are cheaper have ceramic pads, so you cant really say because of the price. they are $5 more at a parts store. and with fords buying power they would probably be the same price as cheap metallic pads.
if yours has metallic or semi metallic BRAKE pads. toss them. get ceramic pads. metallic pads will screech when cold or moist. why ford had to be THAT cheap is beyond me. imports have had factory ceramic pads since the 80s.
these tires are a nice all around a/t, but they suck in cold and snow(they get harder with cold). I run them on my off road awd crv. drove once on slightly slick hill and boom i spun around. I will only run snow tires in the winter. i already have nexens on the mav, were also $110 a piece. the...
