these trucks come with semi metallic pads. absolute junk in my opinion. first thing i always do is swap to ceramic pads. I like powerstop. $40 on Amazon and took 15 minutes to swap. A dealer charging $800 for a pad slap per axle is asinine.
I'm tired of how sensitive my windshield camera is. Has anyone successfully disabled it? either by pulling the fuse or using forscan? I did ty searching and found no results. And no I dont want comments saying its a silly idea, it's my truck and cameras havent always been around.
are order banks even open? with how popular the Mav is, they only allow so many orders per year. unless you absolutely need gas mileage, dont waste your time on a hybrid. get a car that gets good mileage instead. i personally wouldnt get anything less than a fx4. you get xlt, 4k tow, tow hooks...
undercoating traps moisture. causes more rust than it helps prevent.
fluid film or similar is much much better.
i honestly wouldnt waste my time or money on any coatings. i live in the midwest. rust happens after 7-10 years no matter what. especially on gm and dodge products. films just...
its unibody. if the bed is flexing. you have damage. i will be using a one sided stick camper seal between the cab and shell. it will not hurt anything and keep rain and snow out of the gap.
why did they not notify you immediately about the accident? the driver that rear ended your truck is 100 percent at fault but the dealer should be taking care of you since it happen while it was in their custody. i would be suing for damages either way.
our sales fleet is mostly 2.0 awd escapes. zero issues and most have over 100k miles with minimum maintained. Im working on getting them to be better. only issue we have had with a single ford car was rear end going out at around 125k on an explorer.
I ordered at the last order bank. fx4, 4k. no other options as i like simplicity. came in yesterday. it depends on how many allocations your dealer was allotted. if yours only got 10 and 15 were ordered, well guess what, only 10 will show up this year. also its a 60/40 split this year on builds...
