I went with one that covers the rear view mirror, it gives me a larger mirror and the whole thing is the screen. I haven't installed the rear camera, but the front camera is on it. Wolfbox is a popular brand, bought mine several years ago and it migrated from previous vehicle. Certainly helped...
While I like the rubygrid/bulletproof one, if the Maxzina fits it's a nice option, heavy aluminum that fits behind the top of the screen. Not sure if it fits 2025 but they're on here and can tell you.
To add to some of the responses...
Check the diy solar forum, one of the best resources on the net (like this site is), guaranteed someone else is doing what you want, and already made all the mistakes. There is an entire section on RVs, and at least one other Maverick owner was talking about...
According to Consumer Reports, the best candidates for stock sized SUV tires ( 225/65 R17 ) are Michelin CrossClimate2 and Vredestein HiTrac, having good rolling resistance and decent specs in other categories, like wet and dry braking. The stock Continental CrossContact are surprisingly good at...
I saw this flash sale on this holder:
https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/maxzina-flash-sale-for-dashboard-mounted-phone-holder-50-coupon.67626/
and ordered it right away. It came pretty quickly.
For the price I'm impressed. It feels very solid, the provided phone mount is nice, and...
How strong is your tonneau cover? My cheap one says it can support 500#. If you're taking the tonneau cover off can you make a platform that just goes across the bed rails? Maybe just make some supports that beef up the cover, since you already have it.
How do you like the tailgate ladder? I spent several hours over the holiday weekend installing the DIBL, and some metal molle side panels. Several hours because the molle panels were not made to fit with the unistrut rails and the DIBL. That was a lot of in and out of the bed, I didn't have...
Both of those are very helpful. Maybe with the back seat folded down and the passenger seat removed you could make a nice sized platform.
I'm still wondering about sleeping with the car on, so you have ac and power. I checked my CPAP and it has a beefy 90w power supply, but that's well within...
I too found the seat uncomfortable, with some lower back discomfort. I assumed it was the lack of lumbar support. I purchased this cheap add-on lumbar support:
lumbar support
and some cheap seat covers to hide it. Totally fixed it, although it has slipped off its little hanger once.
To answer the OP who does actually know that the main reason to get a snorkel is to keep fine dust out of your engine... yeah, probably. Air filter intake is just in front of it. There used to be kits to design your own cold air intake, could be used to redirect on the intake side of the stock...
Some replies seem to answer a question I have; is it feasible and safe to sleep in the cab with the car "on". I have a friend who said he could do that in his Prius, he could use the ac and the ICE would start when needed to recharge the HVB. I'm actually as concerned with being able to use my...
I've only had my used 2022 hybrid a couple of months, and it's had a buzzing since day one. Sounds like it's coming from the passenger side, but a passenger insisted it was behind the rear view mirror. Sure enough, if I press up on the cowling behind the mirror, it stops. Do I remember to fix...

I used that discount code a couple of months ago. Not only did they honor it, it shipped the next day and arrived the day after that. Pretty good considering it's the one recommended by the...
I have a no-name mirror type I bought on Amazon several years ago, I bought it because it was one of the only ones at the time that used the entire mirror area as the screen. This is the third vehicle it's been in. Just today I bought one on Ebay that has front, rear, and two side cameras, and...
Some more context from a local, Houston has some of the worst traffic in the country, and 45 IS the most dangerous stretch of highway in the country, per an analysis done about 3 years ago. I need to start carrying a white flag...
