So I mentioned awhile back how the last 4-5 cars we've owned have all been scratched and/or dented in a Walmart parking lot. I don't know why it's so common, I try to park away from people, but it's like the bad luck follows me 😂.
I've included a few examples below, one that's on our explorer...
To me, it makes the maverick feel like it's broken. Having to give it a jab of the throttle to overcome the brakes. I was wondering if it was genuinely having an issue, then I realized my brother turned Autohold on with his elbow while getting in.
This is the first time I've driven a car with...
Can anyone else name an entry level product from any mainstream brand that's been this affordable, practical, reliable, efficient, good looking, fun to drive? While also having this much character? I've never seen another affordable vehicle that has this much passion put into it.
I've been in...
It's come to my attention that a lot of people don't like the rotary gear dial in the maverick. Personally, I love it, and got used to it after a few days of ownership. Even my technology and change adverse 57 year old mother loves it.
But for anyone who thinks the maverick's dial is bad, I...
The combination of instant torque and the lack of gear changes means the maverick hybrid picks up speed super effortlessly up until about 50 mph. So many times I look down and I'm like, wow, I'm barely touching the gas but I'm already going 10 over the limit. There's no way the maverick hybrid...
You just thought to yourself, that's what she said, be honest. I can't believe there are people out there who think the maverick is too big, it can't really get smaller. That's what she said.
The the maverick has always looked bloody fantastic to me, the surfacing/lines of the tailgate and how they wrap around the taillights looks so incredible. The muscular shape of the taillights lense also looks awesome.
For the longest time, I thought if there was a weak point to the design, it...
Every single time I see another maverick on the roads, I, and the person in the other truck are both doing this. It's becoming the maverick greeting tradition.
So let me start by saying, the weather where I live is totally bi-polar, Utah weather is notorious from going from 80 degrees and perfectly sunny to a thunderstorm in the span of a few hours. Need to get that out there for context.
I was thinking, we can already use the Fordpass app for a...
We've had our maverick for about 8 months, and absolutely love it. But about 4 times now, there were moments where I would switch lanes and/or apply the brakes, and a intense vibration would run through the interior. Thought this was some sort of issue I had to worry about.
But I learned that...
Day 13: I've successfully infiltrated the gangs ranks. They still don't suspect that I'm not a sports car.

Witchcraft, that's the only way to explain how fuel efficient the maverick is. Topped it off recently, it was saying the range was 503 miles. After making 4 drives totaling over 60 miles, it's now showing the range as 532 miles.
Witchcraft, it's the only logical explanation for what's going on...
No, the 999.9 mpg rating you get for moving the truck a few feet doesn't count 😂. Here's mine with an average of 36 mpg over the course of 1,400 miles, up from 35.6 average just a few days ago.
It's 15 years from now, your maverick is at the bottom of it's depreciation curve, and you've gotten all you wanted out of it in terms of it being a normal vehicle. You decide to modify it, and go wild, how will you modify yours?
Personally, I'd buy one of Ford's ev crate motors, and use it to...
Hello all,
After seeing story after story of our fellow forum members being screwed over by dishonest, trashy dealers, I've decided we should put together lists of positive, honest dealership experiences. The kinds of dealerships that provide you with a decent experience, and sell you the truck...
