The ABS firmware seems to control the drive modes that can be used. The option that you can change for firmware is just so the option matches the firmware that you have loaded...but you still have to load the actual new firmware which is a whole separate operation.

Just reset them. It happens.

Yeah, it's pretty interesting. At like 30% pedal it will open it up and then close back down as the truck speed stabilizes. It feels like the vehicle wants to take off and the throttle management is smoothing everything out...maybe in testing they've found over the years that most car buyers...

Just got my bluetooth obdlink....seems like it's less than 17psi. Watching the actual throttle position is pretty entertaining...it's not very related to the pedal position.

I haven't been able to find any that have been posted except the ones you mentioned. I've accepted I'll need to make my own for the time being.

Mine got like that right around the time it was built. The telematics module has probably been registered with their system so it's now showing up with a connection. It's very unlikely someone will hit the "accept" on the screen but that didn't stop me from trying the button every day or so.

Don't buy anything from anyone who can't show you a dyno plot of before-and-after. Ever. Seeing other people say it feels faster after install is worthless. I've had people tell me their car is faster with a full tank of gas. With modern vehicles there are usually two tuning options...

This is awesome! It's a bit hard to tell in the photos, but I'm assuming the bikes ended up higher then the roofline? Could you give me an idea of how much higher? I'd like my bed cover to be high enough to tuck a bike in.

Thanks! Yeah my truck was actually changed to non-FX4 during the order mostly because I wanted sport mode....and then it showed up as an FX4. So I really want to figure this out. I will say that Sand mode is GREAT for sliding around and doing donuts in the snow, so there's that.

Update: The ability for Forscan to write firmware to the ABS module isn't working. I'll update if/when they have a fix. It looks like they worked my selectable drive mode calculator into the easy configurator though! Too bad it didn't end up being that easy. Also I haven't actually tested all...

This will be a great way for people to have a video of a guy with a mask on taking their stuff. They can then forward to the police who will say they will totally look into it.

Good to know that the trim pieces are pretty cheap to replace. The fact that people are worried about scratching the edges of their bed, which are unpainted plastic so they still look ok when they get scratched, kinda makes me wonder why people buy trucks in the first place. I guess everybody...

The studs simply provide much more traction on ice, which is when I would like to have a lot more traction. The performance in snow will be the same and in slush/wet it will be slightly worse...but I don't really have a critical traction concern when it's wet/slushy out so I don't really care...

Sure, here's where we are at: I've been chatting with the Forscan devs and after a bit of back and forth it looks like the maverick ABS module has different firmware loads depending on whether the vehicle is FX4 or not. This may mean that there really are only 5 available drive mode slots that...
