I don't know but unless they find something simple like a loose plug, I would consider walking away from this sale...This might just be a lemon or the workers just came back from a serious tequila bender b4 starting your build.
I would imagine the 60's were also a pretty fun time to be a teen, well except for that little thing going on in Vietnam.
As for the numbers I'm thinking they are engine displacement, and hopefully not the weight of the girls you were picking up in your groovy microbus.....
I bolted a set of Mustang bucket seats into the back of my first Ranger in 85 or 86, everyone loved riding back there.... The 80's were the the best time to be a teenager
I'll do you one better, here's a video of a guy pulling the tow hooks off a FX4 to try and put them on a XLT... Spoiler alert.
it's not possible to mount them on the XLT or XL, The FX4 has a special piece welded on the body to bolt the hooks too.
Slap on some over sized painted brake calipers, vented disk, a couple of scorpion badges, and change out the maverick on that decal to Abarth....
you could have the very first Ford Maverick, Abarth edition! (y)
That's the factory antenna, apparently many are missing the little whip piece that screws into the blade. look at the antenna on this image, if you don't have the whip sticking up your missing half the antenna.

Did you look to see if the little whip antenna has been installed onto the blade antenna?

Don't waste your money on a ready built camper, convert a 5x8 or 5x10 cargo trailer into one, there very light and fairly cheap to buy (about $4000).
tons of youtube videos on conversions.
Is the small whip antenna screwed into the blade, just commented in another thread about bad radio reception, a picture of the truck shows no whip installed.

Looking at your 3rd picture down, It looks like your missing the small whip antenna that screws into the blade antenna, that could be the cause of the radio problems.
There's probably a salesman at the dealership trying to figure out where this little antenna on his desk came from...
