Yup doesn't matter when you ordered your XL, anyone that spent more for a XLT or Lariat gets bumped to the front of the line.
Seems like a pretty crappy way to do business IMO.
I really think it's time for the whole dealership model to go away, time to change over to just being a service/ warranty center, and a place to pick up your new vehicle that you custom ordered online.
While not a fan of the Maverick name at first, it's kind of grown on me. I don't think the Ranchero name would have gone over well at all.
One thing is for sure, we can all be thankful that Ford didn't decide to pull the Pinto name out of the dustbin of history!

This is such a great pic of James garner, I may just have to shrink and print it to fit in the back of the little dash cubby, kinda like a Easter egg in a video game.
That sounds like a great idea, I'm in if my Hybrid ever gets here. From the comments above it looks like it will also be a Great Mistakes reunion as well, USN 87 to 91 USS Dwight D Eisenhower.
PS. if FatBoys is closed maybe we can meet up at the cribstone bridge in Harpswell.
did it tow alright? that weight is pretty close to the limit. I've been planning a cargo trailer to camper conversion but haven't decided how close to the limit I should get.
Cash, check, or loan doesn't matter, if they won't sell it to you without your signing the agreement.
and once you sign the agreement, it's binding in a court of law.
There not going to have to buy it back from you, because they won't sell it to you unless you sign the contract. If you sign the contract then you have made a legal agreement with them.
I'm not saying I agree with it, but if you sign the contract it's pretty much binding.
I my opinion, No. I believe Ford is focusing on the higher priced models.
I base this on my own XL order placed in September.....I have not even received a build date yet.
