One of the most important things to do is research your dealer very well, avoid the scum bags adding ADM on orders.
Many dealers are requiring a deposit, otherwise anyone can walk in and place frivolous orders they no intention of buying. I paid $500 down, seemed reasonable to me.
I paid cash...
My Wife and I walked past a new Santa Cruz last night, It just does not look like a truck to me, even the wife thought it looked like they chopped the top off an SUV, too ugly, too expensive, bad MPG IMHO.
I'm currently getting about 50MPG in my Maverick, commuting to work.
I'm 53,
I work for the Maine Department of Transportation
My hobbies are Kayaking, Virtual Model railroading, and Gun building.
I received my Maverick last week from Rowe ford in Auburn, Maine. Great dealer no ADM, no BS, no hard push to finance.
So far the truck is awesome! 50 MPG average so...
I wouldn't bet on that, the Tonneau on my old Nissan Frontier was found on the side of the highway, all I had to do was replace the cheap broken factory tiedowns with short bungee cords on all four corners . It was one of three we found on the side of the highway that year. I work for the Maine DOT.
HA! I knew it, Just got my second delivery date extended email, New date is 6/10 to 6/16... for now.

Maybe figure out a way to hook the Cat to a Tazer...:devilish:
If you do this also remember to install video cameras, and open a YouTube channel. :ROFLMAO:
My co-workers F150 spent a month in the shop waiting for a new wiring harness, because of rodent damage. Insurance covered it except for a $100.00 deductible.
