Per my original post:
I am also doing this survey, because I notice most owner photos are guys with neighborhood homes in the background.
I live in an apartment, as houses are too expensive now. Maybe I don’t fit the demographic for a Maverick.
I have also found that truck use can be...
I guess I’m not so curious about the age as I am the habitat demographic. Some young people have farms, some old live in condos, and so on.
I am just trying to see where everyone is at on here.
I was part of a local subaru facebook group (before i quit facebook) and most everyone on there...
This article upsets the argument I’ve heard on the forum stating, “I drive all highway, so I wouldn’t benefit from the hybrid, seeing how the 2.0 gets 30mpg hwy versus 33mpg hwy of hybrid.”
Seeing how they got over 39mpg with 80% highway driving shows the hybrid is a good deal more efficient...
And for those too cool to vote house in the suburbs because your pad is in mid-town or something, please just vote house in suburbs, as it is the closest option.
I should have made it “House in Neighborhood”, but cannot update it now.
My only reason for having two house options is to...
No, an apartment means an apartment, whether 1 story or 100 stories.
The apartment can be in a city or rural area.
I live in an apartment complex in the suburbs.
I suppose, but when I say urban, I am thinking downtown, high-rise akin to the marketing. If a house is in the city, but not downtown, I’d just vote suburb.
Posting this survey, because based on Ford’s videos and photos, Ford marketing portrays the Maverick as a truck for young women (and a few men) living in dense cities (more than likely renting apartments) with hipster hobbies.
I feel the majority of buyers live in suburbs, are men, and are...
Newer Honda Accord wheels are the most stolen recently. Not sure the Maverick’s size will be that hot. The majority of people who want cheap stolen wheel upgrades want 19-20” that fit their older honda that had limo tint. (and they wonder why they get pulled over when speeding)
His advice may have worked in the past, but in a market where used cars are overpriced with high mileage, an affordable new vehicle at msrp with warranty can make sense.
Also, his idea of paying off a house early was great too, but isn’t realistic now that homes cost so much. I’ll just have to...
So true. Most of CA gas prices are taxes. If they would get rid of the many taxes in their fuel, their gas would be more like the rest of the country.
I saw a breakdown of it one time and it is so dumb what they fund with the random taxes hidden in the fuel cost.
Maybe train derailed and your truck got scrapped?
Or else it was damaged in transit and went for repairs?
(surprisingly, this does happen. Honda was having to replace missing body panels, etc a lot when they opened their new plant in Mexico. Mexicans jump on the trains and steal parts or...
Pretty sure Apple doesn’t work that way, so you must be using an android? Carplay is all or nothing. Carplay also has split screen so you can have waze, music, etc up on the car’s screen at the same time, so no need to have phone in conjunction.
I agree. Makes no sense to me. Plus the Maverick even has a spot to prop the phone up by the cup holders.
The days of having to stick your phone to the dash are dead now that new cars have carplay and android auto.
Ford should have just made the screen and dropped the cubby hole next to it...
