Yeah, I get that MauRoba. But it still works as well as anything else.
I will confess, though, I'm thinking of getting a land line. I am sure I would take a lot of crap about that but I'm in an area with less than good cell coverage, and I'm really tired of losing calls, freezing...
Re: the sunglasses compartment: On my Expedition we have always used that compartment for the spare key. So, if I'm not around, and my wife needs the truck, she uses the key code to unlock the door and uses the key to drive it. So, it's not my sunglasses compartment, it's my spare key cubby...
Spuds, next time you go by your Ram lot, check and see what the typical MSRPs are. Now I know Chrysler dealers used to take 15 to 25% off sticker just for asking, but I'm not sure what they are doing now.
My Expedition was $50k - but I know there were plenty of other (Platinum) ones on the lot...
Dang. I guess "It's a Jeep thing - you wouldn't understand"!!
Isn't that what one of their bumper stickers/decals says??
Thank god you had the camera going.
I'm curious to see what the Ford dealership offers. My truck is shipped, and I should be able to pick it up by June 2nd or so, so I went to my local CU and got pre-approved for 1.99%. The CU says it's good for 30 days, up to June 10. If Ford offers me .9% I would probably take it, but I do...
Well, as you can tell by my profile pic, I love the green. It looks a little bit lighter than my Expedition.
On overcast days, or at night, people mostly think it's black. But I love the color when the sun hits it. It glows like a gemstone.
As for combo, I ordered it with the beige leather...
Yes, I received (and saved) emails from them confirming it would be MSRP. I mean, they might still try to slip something in but I can be a pr**k at closing time!
I am pre-approved and locked at 1.99% at my credit union, so unless Ford Finance offers .9% or less, I won't have to get jacked...
I didn't know about allocations, either, although with my pick of several dealers, I went with the one that was biggest and "most professional" in my opinion.
What I did learn at the time was Ford wanted to go to a system whereby people ordered their vehicles rather than shopped what was on...
I started to reply what I thought it was, but mine was an obscene version so I deleted it.
Now I can't wait to get my Mav and see if this little sensor is in there.
I'm the last guy to figure these things out. I had my Expedition for a full year before I triggered the switch by the reading...
Well, I'm not trading a Civic, but I was one day away from buying a new Nissan Kicks last year - cute little SUV, mid trim (similar to XLT) and it was $23,000 +taxetc.
I heard about the Maverick somehow on the world wide web and just loved it, as opposed to the feeling I was going to "settle"...
Mr. Mojo, I figured I wasn't the only one who would look at reviews, so thanks for letting me know.
Maybe the most notable aspect of the whole thing is I realized I didn't do that much research before ordering my Mav. I heard about it, researched it for about a day and I was convinced.
My...
Moderators, if this thread is redundant, feel free to delete it, or append it to another.
But, as I wait the last couple of weeks for my Maverick to show up, I thought I would take a peek at Edmunds, a source of review info I have always respected in the past.
I still respect them, but after...
Nah, probably not. Inherent vice or vermin.... depends on how the adjuster interprets it. Hitting a deer is different than an infestation.... I'd be interested in knowing what they say. I retired after 45 years in the insurance biz and sometimes it comes down to the adjuster's mood.
