Yea those wheels are desirable and not easy to find. They are the only reason to consider the XLT trim in my opinion. I call the XLT trim the “2K wheel package” because it used to cost $2,000 over the XL trim.
Ford parts has them listed over $1k each.
I don’t do FB so eventually I’ll see...
I was curious about this. I have one expected in march. I suspect that ecoboost mavericks will see a promotional rate by late summer when the dealer lots start to be well stocked. Unlikely for hybrids.
This is a valid line of questioning. Field of view and situational awareness are important, at least if you’re over 30. Sub-30somethings can’t wait until full self driving is here, lol. What about a video-based solution? It may take some finagling but a screen could be mounted up higher at...
No way we'd get a sub $30K Maverick built in the US. The recent strike settlement has no doubt motivated decisions for future vehicle production away from our workers as well.
This is a case of Early Bird Catches... Essentially the same vehicle jumped by about 5K. Can't fault Ford, it's a business and they don't owe us anything. Just calling myself fortunate I have a hybrid XL coming with a transitional private offer.
That’s what I was thinking. Definitely sorry about @bighap ’s Mav and glad it wasn’t worse but that’s one less buck raiding his neighborhoods gardens.
My F-150 display teases with an “apps” button but it’s not capable of adding apps. Not even navigation, which requires addition of a hardware module despite the fact the truck has location always on via the app.
I gave up on it. There’s a measurable display delay after almost every press or...
Thank you for sharing this. Wonder what button / action maps to the “L”
Looking forward to someone replacing the anemic display with something that integrates with the canbus …
Super cool. You look like you have an ID badge- do they let the public tour the plant? You get any more pics? Maybe a shared album or your YouTube channel?
It will be interesting to see how this plays out over the course of the model year. It implies that once the rollovers are built they may disallow stock hybrids or xl’s.
Wonder if these projections are based in supply expectations or market/profits. In the end if they’re making $ on XL...
