18’s only matter to the rim size, you can have a 14” wheel with a same size outer diameter tire as a 18” wheel/tire I don’t think the brakes change from package to package, and that is the only thing that would matter what wheel size is required.

based on that sticker the “full size” spare is 1.3” shorter than the on the ground size, or 4.6%. not sure how fords AWD system is but I know on a lot of AWD cars thats a big no no.

if you had an FX4 With tow hooks, the hooks could be removed and a ladder rack connecting to the front of the truck could be made very easily. otherwise, I’d bet a long light custom trailer could handle that duty.
