I reserved fwd/4k, but when I ordered they said late production, have to up to AWD/4k if I don’t want to wait longer. I decided to keep it FWD/2k so as not to delay anything further.
kind of a bummer.
i don’t feel like im being screwed, just feel like I am not getting a bone thrown my way...

so this means what? Thanksgiving ish delivery?
Sold my 2020 ranger in June, was gonna get a manual Kia Soul or somethin small when I came across the maverick. Ordered the maverick hoping for a September or so delivery…….. jury out on that, not likely to happen. I wasn’t working, took a early retirement at 37, but have since been called back...
for me, I put the car on jackstands, and wait a week to 10 days to have it done. I’m in a populated area of car Mecca in Southern California, and while there are a dozen or so powder coaters within a 10 mile radius, probably more. There’s only 2 that I use because I know they do good work.
im a steelies kinda guy.... and i don't mind spending money to swap colors. I'm also a mechanic by trade, and have access to whatever machinery i want to use, however, we don't do tires in house, but my tire guy will dismount/remount/balance for $15/tire. I'm my area it ranges from $50-70/wheel...

As long as it ain’t China!
China can manufacture excellent goods, the factories just build to a price point that their customers ask for. It’s not the fault of the country.
looks to me like a simple strap around the down tube to the bed corners inside? Look at the downtube where the decal is, then you see a chunky strap. It’s likely not held super securely as it’s for show “bikes go here”
