I knew I was buying a $20k truck before I ordered - hence the XL trim. Considering the long and distinguished history of automotive quality from our southern neighbor and the price point of which it was designed for - I believe the quality is actually quite impressive.

XL ecoboost AWD, 87 octane, usually driving 80 on the interstate half the time, been towing a utility trailer last few weekends, never fuss with the mode, at 8600 miles now - 27.5 mpg no matter what I do :cool:

Great write up - I still feel like the FWD EB is one of the biggest deals out there for sheer utility. Originally I planned on the EB FWD XL with the 4k package, but then Ford removed that combo as an option. Had I been a month earlier on ordering I could have gotten the AWD free!
