The scout topper does look pretty massive, but the lens is playing tricks mostly. It also fits the Gladiator, which may be a better match. Curious if the tailgate should be taken off or not?

I happened to be driving home from work when I saw my Mav had been delivered to their lot - didn't receive an email from Ford and they hadn't processed it yet because the one internet guy was on vacation.
I still have my 97 S-10, previously had a 97 Nissan pickup - the Maverick is the right length and width, definitely more comfortable but bulkier is a lot of ways. I do think the visibility over the bed and the reach in height is just a bit high (guess im a little on the short side).
