Is yours an FX4 with 4k TOW or just AWD with 4k tow?? The AWD systems apparently operate differently between those configurations.
From my owners manual
You can turn off the wifi, auto updates and other communication functions using the menu on the audio screen.
Press settings, select fordpass connect, select connectivity settings and turn features on/off as desired.
Refer to page 377 of the owners manual if needed.
I didn't go any further...
Truthfully, for me, it did nothing except maybe draw my 12v battery down in the truck with it's continuous attempts to communicate with the truck. I have remote start on my fob, I remember where I park, and all the other info is available on the dash display.
Final straw was coming home from an...
I have to agree with your wife. Let Ford do a buy back of the truck and find another one if you still want a Maverick.
I went through the buy back process way back in 1995 with an F150. Ford bought back the truck, basically refunding the out the door purchase price and tossed in a 2k "credit"...
It's unreasonable to expect the manufacturer to warranty the failure given that you've modified the suspension, thereby altering the stock steering, suspension and drivetrain geometry.
As for not having any issue on the wheel side of the assembly, any vibration or oscillation started and/or...
Seems to me by "disabling" the switches you turned off the passenger side power lock switch, thereby preventing your passenger from locking you out.
I know you stated that that wasn't happening, but, it's the one thing that makes any sense.
The Tremor comes equipped with upgraded axle sharts/cv joints. The axles are 1/8" larger diameter, and from what I understand the cv joints in the Tremor have 5 ball bearings in the cages as opposed to 3 bearings in the other models.
Mine is a 23 XLT with Lux package and a soft tonneau cover. I get 21-22 mpg around town, and on the highway I'll get 28-29 when using cruise control (usually set for 70 mph on the highways I use). Average in mixed driving has hovered right around 24.
No complaints about the fuel sipping nature...
One thing to keep in mind is that on an XL model you save more with the $500 farm bureau, veteran or college grad discounts. On an XLT model the X plan savings are pretty close to the same as those programs depending on the options you ordered. The Maverick is not a high margin vehicle for...
When I was preparing to order my '23 Tremor I emailed the salesman at the dealership letting them know I was using X plan and verifying that they participated in the program. Fast forward 367 days later at delivery...
The new salesman (the original salesman left the employment of the...
Those "dents" in the sidewall are from the tire manufacturing process. I doubt you'll have any success with the dealer or Ford.
That being said, I would contact the dealership and explain the driveability issue you're experiencing and ask them to check the tire balance and maybe the front end...
I've been doing this for years, ever since a rodent chewed through the engine harness on the company truck I had. That resulted in a rather humorous call to the boss explaining why I would be late... and that a tow truck was required.
My hack to avoid hitting ok every time:
I fastened all three rear seat belts and leave them fastened, now when I get in and fasten my seat belt before starting there's no need to hit ok and as long as I buckle up prior to starting there's no pop up either. Of course if somebody gets in the...
My '23 Tremor was delivered to Tindol after hours on a Wednesday, the salesman sent me a text first thing Thursday morning with pictures of the truck sitting on the lot. FWIW mine never showed up on their website.
You did the right thing stopping in to check on the status because doing that...
We just went on a 2500 mile road trip visiting family earlier this month. Drove from NC to MI then continued on to CT and finally back to NC. I saw several Mavericks, but the only Tremor we saw was ours.
Being limited to 2% of production for both model year '23 and '24 means there isn't to...
They left the actual valve stem black so that it stands out against the orange 🍊
Seems everyone who sees my Tremor feels the need to comment on the orange "valve stem wheel marker". I tell them that not only is it orange, but it glows in the dark to make it super easy to find the valve stem at...
In my case when towing a 5x8 enclosed UHAUL it meant I only got 14 MPG on the highway.... Granted I was driving at the speed limit of 70 mph and going up and down a lot of hills
