Seems to me by "disabling" the switches you turned off the passenger side power lock switch, thereby preventing your passenger from locking you out. I know you stated that that wasn't happening, but, it's the one thing that makes any sense.

The Tremor comes equipped with upgraded axle sharts/cv joints. The axles are 1/8" larger diameter, and from what I understand the cv joints in the Tremor have 5 ball bearings in the cages as opposed to 3 bearings in the other models.
