I know others have had issue with that retaining nut, but those were mostly user errorā¦. Took me a couple tries (would pop out after opening/closing a few times) but finally got it in there correctly (pulling the bolt towards you to secure the flat edges of the nut)ā¦. Havenāt had any issues...
but yeah, itās not a perfect fit but they worked for me and others have used them as well (like I said earlier in the thread, I didnāt think they worked and then re-tried and got them to work)
anyway, I found these that people on the bronco forum are using (and pretty sure they have the same...
I canāt find one of the pics I took connected, but when comparing both together you can see the pins are on the same place (this one the 5600 pin was bent because of how I tried to push it in the first time)
5601 slides on easier than the 5600 (I gave up on the 5600 and had the 5601 and went with that and something was weird so I went back and re-evaluated and decided the 5600 should work because the pins are in the same place, and I realize I just wasnāt being patient enough)
Itās not a different plug, it fits, you just need to patiently work it in there. Itās the same plug as the tweeters and they work for both. Iāll find some pictures here in a few
I picked up an ender 5 pro on flash sale on Amazon for $300 a few weeks agoā¦. Letās say itās been giving me more fits than FITS of you catch my drift, but weāll get thereā¦. Will have 3 flawless prints then canāt get anything to stick to the bed, etc then get a few prints off then problems...
Yeah, I knowā¦. That was back in January when I was still figuring things out and another post had me thinking that (the wires look so similar too they can play tricks on you)ā¦.
The green clips are annoyingā¦. I finally broke one on the AC controls taking those out for like the 11th time (prior to that it was coming off every time I pulled it out, but it would clip back on)
you can get replacements on eBay (but theyāre orange, but they work)
I did the same thing the first time I took the panels off. I did the driver door first, no issues whatsoeverā¦. I then dropped my 7mm socket inside the power window controlsā¦. I should have gotten another 7mm (hadnāt done the bottoms screws yet)ā¦. Thought I could lift the top part to get my...
Door speakers will make a big differenceā¦. As far as I know, the B&O door speakers are the same (abs theyāre just junk)ā¦
Iād start there and then if thatās not enough you could add an amp to the front or upgrade the sub from the free air 6x9, etcā¦
And youāre just running off factory signal? Does the engine noise ārev upā as you do?
howād you wire the wire the crossovers (I.E. Whereās your signal splitting off)? Like door single coming in then running to 6.5s and tweeter from there?
also what are your settings at on the crossover (0...
Get the 10 if you get one of the two, the 8 is solid but odds are youāll wish you got the 10ā¦. (I was mostly happy with the way the 8 sounded back there, it just wasnāt able to hit certain lower tones that I want)
The fact thatās itās only on the lariat and the placement, it has to be padding for the B&O system (whether you took the lux option or not, they wouldnāt remove it just because itās not optionedā¦. Too cheap of a āpart).
With the placement it appears to be right over the support brace assembly...
