Iām the type that never sets expectations too high because I know all too well they end in disappointment, so it would take some serious craziness for me to disappointed in the cheapest new truck on the market. do I have some minor gripes? Sure (such as the earlier mention of sand looking like...
Iām currently on my 4th set up, building a 5th and I may have found a used hertz EBX F25 that I couldnāt resist at the price thatās on the way as well š
I LOVE the way the hertz cs250 S2 sounds paired at 2 ohms running 300 watts off the kicker cxa 400.1, but itās just slightly too deep to really...
Messaged you about it last Thursday š
I friggin LOVE the way the cs250 sounds, but Iāve had a hell of a time getting the right fit behind the seat (ended up just finishing one of my cuts and Iāve currently got it on the floor behind the passenger seat). I think itās possible to get it right...
And one great thing with crutchfield is peace of mind - you have 60 days to try something out and if you decide itās not what you want, you can return it within those 60 days no questions asked.
Yes, theyāll fit under the front seat if you remove the air vent. Otherwise they stick out about this far (and this isnāt connected, it may not have enough space for the connections like this, I just put it down there and took a pic to show somebody how it would sit without removing the air...
Yāall are making me want to buy a kayakā¦. (Moved into a lake community 6 months ago so it was already an interest, but this kinda thing making me want one even more)
Not a ton, but then Iāve only got 1,600 miles but Iāve had a few. Recently was filling up at a gas station and when I came out, a guy with a fusion was checking it and heās like āmaverick? Whatās a maverick? Wasnāt that an old passenger car decades agoā and I let him check out the interior...
They sit behind the plastic strip that runs across the window, so youāll have to pull that loose first (not all the way off, just loose so you can move that panel). After that itās just pulling it away from the wall. Search on YouTube for maverick rear speaker replacement by blakescars2ā¦...
This was literally, word for word, going to be my reply
but hereās more: I wanted both, did cost/use analysis and I open the tailgate way more than I open the hood, so $100 cheaper for something I used more often made sense. Iām happy o went with what I did, because the cost for the hood...
I disengaged the dampener (donāt see how to drop the glovebox down without)ā¦. Squeeze the little clips while you slowly/gently (but firmly) push/pull out on the dampener arm itself (and I just left mine off this last time I popped it out)
I basically squeeze piece that extrudes through the...
I just used tile nippers to snap those tabs off (then I drilled a hole for the speaker wire to come through, because the wiring is on the outside of the adaptor)
If you donāt have that black box (canāt remember what itās for) then itās somewhere around 11 inches wide (was looking at putting a shallow 8 there but now itās housing my amp rack)
Damn tho now youāve got me tempted to put that 48tcwrt102 like thatā¦. Itās like 11.88 but is like 23.5 wide (sounds damn good tho, been swapping back and forth between that and a box that didnāt end up working that I have a hertz CS250 S2 inā¦. Final box that Iām working on will have an Audison...
Also unfortunately these RF primes donāt seem to hold up, but Iām sure itāll fitā¦. The kicker 48tcwrt102 would work (with the amp bracket taken off) if it didnāt have the passive radiator
these are the dimensions I came up with for my custom box (after trying a few other test fits)for what Iām...
the issue is you can tighten it as tight as you want, but if you donāt have those wings on the nut completely flat and set when you tighten it, itās gonna act like itās in there and then eventually pop out.
