The other thing to remember here is that you most likely actually have enough useable gas in your tank for that real emergency. In the hybrid when your DTE reads 0, there is still over 50 miles of useable range. Especially if your trying to make the most of it. I'd rather take that chance than...
I'm guessing your dealer doesn't participate. I know when I bought mine as an ordered vehicle, when they (the sales manager) went into their computer for the pricing, the farm bureau discount was already present. I did not do anything other than join the Farm Bureau before three months...
Does not make it acceptable, has already prevented me from upgrading my wife's vehicle with something newer. I am not buying into today's problems on any vehicle if they're not proven to be eliminated on the current model. Of course my ability to do this is only as good as any info available...
Has been said on this forum before that an
H-5 battery can fit the hybrid if you bend or remove a metal tab on the vehicle battery mount. The H-5 does provide more reserve capacity, but the H-4 is the proper size.
No, DO NOT use auto start or out even put accessory power back on vehicle prior to returning the blades to the down position. You risk damaging the paint on the hood edge as well as possible damage to the windshield as blades will be slapped back onto the windshield.
It really is, if you want the most life out of that battery. The truck will never make it any higher than it is by itself. The battery life is short enough IMO.
Don't know about the mirrors and their housings, but the blind spot sensors are located behind the rear bumper. I would not see a reason to recalibrate.
Do your homework before you go jumping to any Toyota hybrid; they too, seem to have adapted a BMS and it's software that is not friendly to the smaller 12v batteries most hybrids are equipped with. I have looked at some of the forums for their hybrids and thought I was reading here. Their BMS...
Seems that silicone pieces in the kitchen hold up well to extreme temperatures, I would think this may be welcome protection for a dash that seems to deteriorate in intensely warm climates. I may be interested also, if it fits a '24.
I actually like this version also; it has the practical aspect of the PPF effect of protecting much of your front painted areas while attenuating that front end look. Even gives the Mav more presence on the road IMO, especially with that bug guard.
Don't be surprised if it really does get continued. Every year at this time, we always wonder if it will be there the next, usually by January we know it is. I would be very surprised if Ford stopped support of the Farm Bureau.
I like the factory cameras that now have record capability on all 360 cameras. Better than most available dash cams. I imagine it's only available on the top of the line though. Like he said, this should have been done years ago.
Ordered my '24 as a '23 thru Shorty and had a great experience with the dealer. Just seems that Ford fell short on '23 model year deliveries. So far, service due to recalls and dead batteries has been good. Done my own oil changes and rotation.
I have found that my Amazon weak Faraday pouch works to my advantage (I think). It reduces my key fob's range to where if you're real close, the signal gets thru. I have found that this allows me to keep my fob in the pouch in my pocket mostly. Occasionally, I will need to bring the Faraday...
