The 22's are covered by build date under CSP (Customer Satisfaction Program) 25N09. Build between Dec 1, 2021 and Nov 12, 2022, IIRC. Edit: should be Nov 23, 2022.
Dry Gas is really unneeded if you have already been running an ethanol enhanced fuel. The ethanol will soak up any water or condensation in the tank.
I would lean more toward drivetrain issues like others have mentioned.
I think the battery makers have realized that today's vehicles won't allow most batteries to last longer than about four years under the best of conditions, that's why you no longer see the better warranties. Today's batteries in a premodern vehicle do last a long time in my experience. Just got...
Wouldn't such a set up also make the opening painfully slow in cooler weather? I'm sure the bracket for a right side mount would be easy for someone with the right tools and talent to create, however.
I think a lot may depend on your age. In 1988, I upgraded from my Courier to an XLT Ranger. I never thought I would get used to its driving position (just different from what I was used to). Eventually, I must have gotten used to it because I kept that vehicle for over 155k and made many 1500...
This is normal operation for the hybrid once the HVB is fully recharged through regeneration recharge. The battery can take no more, so the ICE helps in the braking going down hill. The system is programmed this way.
If Hyundai had brought out the Santa Cruz closer to the concept show car (2015) in time, I think that by the time the Maverick came on the scene, they might have been more more successful. Perhaps even bringing a hybrid to market by then. Hyundai blew it by hesitating so long to bring the...
Actually, with the hybrid, it is really the opposite. High highway speeds kill the MPG (any highway speeds really) and stop and go scenarios are where it excells. In your case, it's probably all the warm up cycles and never getting fully warmed up eating away your MPG.
These are probably great for those whose use puts them at high risk for lense damage, but I think that just routine detailing that area would be a real chore.
Must also remember, whether EB or hybrid, there were lots of mechanical improvements starting in MY '25. Specifically to the EB engine and the hybrid eCVT. These may not make the discount worth it to many people.
My '24 Lariat GPS works fine with the telematics fuse pulled. Maybe Ford changed it on the '25s. I believe the five year subscription is only for the SiriusXM Traffic and Travel Link services. I expect GPS to continue to work after five years (might have to pay for updates if desired).
