Actually Glen, don't feel too out of it. After my military time, I did do a stint as an auto damage appraisor, not for insurance companies, but for auto leasing companies, and some major auto manufacturers. At one time I thought about going into the insurance end of things and even got my...
If you really felt the need to mount them on the other side, you could turn them over on the wheel by having them remounted. I might do it once at most depending on closely monitored wear. Many places only rotate front to rear nowadays anyway.
Back to the cracks; I've had several body on frame pickups (none full size or within past 20 years) and don't remember seeing any any seam sealer around the tail gate area. I see it in hidden areas of the body (trunk area) on my '83 Mustang, but it seems to be a different non-hardening material...
I'm not using MTC forum via email, I can get the info on my android LG phone using either Chrome or Duck Duck Go browsers. All I have to do is view it in the landscape mode, simply turn the phone 90 degrees assuming you don't have that mode locked.
Looks to me like the dealer was anxious to have billable hours for warranty work they could profit on by by doing cheap work and bit off more than they could chew at the tech's expense. The tech seemed to get his recourse whether his carelessness was intentional or not. Sorry this happened to...
I have always been aware of my parking brake use since the first time I had it freeze up in the on position after a cold night on my first car as a teen. During winter months, sixties cars had a tendency to freeze if the (parking brake) mechanisms were wet from driving on the wintery roads. I...
I don't know what the GWM is, but if the '25 model doesn't take better care of it's battery than the ''22-'24 models do, there won't be many OTA updates.
I would really hate to think you're only going to last as long as your Maverick might. I'm afraid that I don't think these trucks are long term machines compared to other vehicles I
have owned.
My hearing is poor, but I can tell you, I would rather have the sunroof open with my sliding rear window than a side window. Great ventilation and you can adjust it with the opening amount of the slider. Little to no turbulence and less use of A/C needed.
I'd like to see the Space White next to a Cactus Gray. I think the differences are mostly the metallic of the SW, although I'm sure it depends on the light.
Model year of Maverick? Is it AWD, lifted, lowered etc. Could be CV axles front if only FWD. Front or rear if AWD. Sounds like it's in the drivetrain. Maybe a dragging brake?
