Did the dealer charge you a fee for using your credit card for the down payment? I ask as in the past when purchasing vehicles in both Illinois & Wisconsin, the dealers have said I need to pay a service fee of 1~2.5% (can't remember the exact percentage).
Or perhaps since its a Ford CC, Ford...
I'm still hoping to get my 2022 Hybrid. But my question is: if some 2022 orders don't get filled prior to 2023MY transition, will we be price-protected on a 2023 version's inevitable MSRP increase? (I doubt it but just pondering...)
EDIT: I think there's been as similar producion issue with...
Early morning here with no coffee yet, and I initially thought "limited supply of what?". Then I got your humor! LMAO 😂 I guess I have a limited supply also.
Congrats on the new Lariat! You need to share some pics and what options it has for us still waiting for our unicons to be built &...
You can add accessory to any vehicle, but at what cost. You can buy a cheap heated steering wheel wrap for minimal bucks off Amazon. But if you want heated wheel using factory parts it will be much more expensive. Same with the inverter.
I have a feeling to add the 110w inverter to both...
There is also a smokers package option ($70) that includes a 12v outlet & element so it seems there is a 12V outlet available.
Above pic shows a 12v cover but I've learned some of the official Ford pictures haven't been updated with what exactly comes standard, so I'm not totally sure...
I know its been said many times already, but I am glad you and daughter didn't suffer more serious injuries. Guess its a testament to the Maverick's design and safety features.
But as many have also said, get both of you checked out medically soon. In case something flares up in the future (I...
Maybe this is old news but twice in past week I noticed a member that has the name: Ford Motor Company. I searched to see if there was a thread on this but didn't see one in the first few pages of the website search so I figured if it was mentionted, it was awhile ago.
Your can see an example...
I like seeing the catalytic converter tucked up in the engine bay, but I have another worry.
Since many converter thieves are dimwits or high on whatever, will some of them mistake the Hybrid's battery and/or related cooling/heating sub-systems for a catalytic converter?
Most petty thieves...
They made good +/- comments on all the trucks. Is the Mav perfect? Nope.
What gets me is the interiors of some of these high-end "work trucks". They're so nice I'd almost be afraid to use them as a daily driver, and especially when doing dirty, sweaty work. While the Maverick is plasticky...
Thought those of you still waiting for your EcoBoost with FX4/Tow packages would enjoy this video. The OPs are from rural Canada, so they deal with more inclement weather than many of us in US. They show loading an ATV, hauling 500lbs, and tow a 4k trailer. And I found their MPGs while towing...
Welcome!
I bet a few (many) future Maverick owners would each send you a few bucks towards your Lariat if you drove over to the factory and helped load the multitude of Mavericks sitting on the factory lots unto the rail cars.
Great review of a Mav Hybrid doing what it was designed for (stop & go deliveries). It was also cool to see the Amish horse & buggy and homesteads, countryside, etc...added content was entertaining.
To OP, please continue updating us with how your Hybrid handles your job (especially the MPGs...
Great idea! (y) So I just clicked "Watch this thread".
While peak HP would be interesting to know for passing on 2-lane highways, etc, what I'm really interested in is the TQ curve. From the 0-60MPH times stated by C&D and MotorTrend I imagine the battery side of the drivetrain adds TQ...
I have not found. any Chicagoland Ford dealerships offering discounts off MSRP. Since I'm bored waiting for my Hybrid I've search a few dealership websites and found some stating they sell at MSRP and some that are adding ADM upcharge of $3~5K over MSRP.
I think its too early in the sales of...
I have read in a few other Hybrid threads here that there's some clicking within the Hybrid system as it shuts down, (relays, etc).
Sorry I can't remember the titles of those threads, but I'm sure someone will chime in with a more detailed info. Or maybe do a search for " Hybrid clicking" or...
First, congrats on your new Hybrid Maverick!
The real question many will wonder, what is your MPG? While we like to see what the info screen says, we (I) am more interested in what real calculated MPGs are (ie miles driven divided by those 13.74 gallons)?
Have a great New Year!
Well that sucks big-time!
I don't have my Maverick yet, but awhile ago I found a Youtube video where the guy walks you through getting a firmware update. I posted it to this forum in the thread linked below.
Hope this helps or its back to the dealer. Let us know what happens...
