If there's no change in the steering and suspension links, and there's negligible slop in their bolted connections to the knuckle, then the effect on the alignment should also be negligible.
If your focus is cosmetic appearance, I think you would get more value by swapping your current tires onto a wider aftermarket wheel.
But yes, I have 235/65-17's (BFG Trail Terrain T/A).
I'm down 1-2 MPG. FWD Hybrid, 90% freeway. 33-34 MPG on the dash.
I'd recommend you find a tire that is...
The alleged spot weld is behind the tail light. Remove the 2 tail light screws and check.
But it's one single spot weld. If I found it on mine, I would probably drill it out and replace it with a blind rivet🤷♂️
(not my video)
The OEM light doesn't use bulbs -- it's a custom circuit board with LED chips on it. If you're offering a replacement, it's logistically easier and more valuable (to some customers) to use RGBW LEDs instead of offering multiple single-color LED versions.
Also, Mustangs come with selectable RGB...
The highest trim Escape has it.
But with trucks, Ford seems to think a mirror will make me want to spend 15-25k more on a high-trim Ranger or mid-trim F150. It's pretty silly.
What interval is reasonable and makes you feel comfortable?
The owner's manual says to change when the light comes on, or the lesser of 10k(?) miles or 1 year.
My dealer "recommends" 3k miles, and they also charge 2x the price of any other shop.
I change my own at 8-9k. It makes me and my...
I liked this install instruction from the escape forum -- same wheel.

I think it's a disgrace that this product is still on the market with such a serious safety concern.
There was a thread on here from the guy that originally tested the product for OPT7, but he's since been banned. In that now-deleted thread, the light appeared to only work correctly if you...
I still love my (235/65r17) Trail Terrains after 30k miles.
The performance and sound are good for an A/T.
I drive 90% highway with a heavy foot and still get 33-34 mpg on the dash.
I don't think any substantial flare could be compatible with OE mud flaps. Rough Country certainly aren't.
You might have luck with adhesive cladding like the Mabett "flares" on Amazon.
