There is definitely something wrong with your dome light.
This light has been used on at least a half-dozen vehicles since 2020. They wouldn't update it to work in such a silly way for 2025. My dome light is always Off when set to "Off". And there is no slop in the switch at all -- I cannot...
Ford's install instructions disagree. You should be able to simply unbolt and remove the bar.
The differential isn't even on this side of the subframe. But the exhaust is conveniently missing from this image.

Here they are in the black/silver colorway:

They look great for the price, but the fitment is what you might expect for an OEM wheel.
The offset...
Isn't the lens sonic-welded to the housing? Even if you could source the lens only, it will be much easier to swap full assemblies.
The Maverick uses the same part (and part number) as base model halogen 2015-2020 F150, 2017-2022 F250...
The Ranger Raptor is a sweet ride, but the cost is pretty substantial for a daily driver. When the excitement wears off in a couple years, will you value it enough to justify the expense? Will 17mpg in a daily driver be acceptable, or an annoying burden?
If you just want something enjoyable to...
It's a neat idea, except for two fundamental issues:
People reverse and turn at the same time.
Mavericks don't have a discrete turn signal. Brake and turn are the same wire.
The truck knows that a trailer is connected when power is being drawn from the trailer lamp connector. Most new trucks for the last 5+ years function like this.
It sounds like your installer plugged the cap's 3rd brake light into the trailer connector. If the power draw is very low, it might...
I'd imagine it's about money, maybe weight too. The Ford design should be strong enough for the application and cheaper to produce in very large quantities. The Moog design is probably cheaper to produce in smaller quantities because of it's simple construction.
It looks like the Ford part...
Correct.
The connectors are the same, but the pinouts (wire locations in the connectors) are different from 22-24. They also are slightly different from low trim (reflector) to high trim (projector). If one had access to the OEM wiring diagrams, it should be pretty simple to make an adapter...
That's disappointing. The connectors are probably readily available from their manufacturer, but your shop wants to pay 10x more and wait indefinitely for the Motorcraft part number instead.
If it's anything like the 22-24 models, you'll probably have to wait another year for an easily compatible OEM-style aftermarket lamp. Thankfully, it looks like the 2025 headlights might be able to use the same back housing as 2022, which would be a significant cost savings in product development.
According to SEMA Market Research, over 60% of new vehicles sold back in 2023 had ACC. I'd imagine that number is even higher now.
I think we don't get it standard on all trims (like many automakers do) because of Ford's greed and hubris. If anyone would bother to compete in this segment...
TBH this is my mistake from when I worked at DD and designed these. In retrospect, I wish I would have specified ASA instead of ABS, for better UV resistance.
It is normal for ABS to fade in the sun. Since these use 2015 F150 fog lamp assemblies, I based the bezel design on the corresponding...
It's not worth the time and frustration to replace the outer lens only. You can buy a pair of lamps for $200 or less on Amazon, so they probably wholesale for around $50-$60 like this aftermarket set. At that low of a price, you might as well commission full replacement assemblies with clear...
The plastic grommets cost like $5 and it's 2 screws to remove the tail lamp.
I wouldn't waste the time and headache of dealing with a Ford service center.
