An ev Maverick with 200miles range under $32k base would become their best seller instantly. Hell, the 40k lightning would be it now, if they let an anyone buy it.
My build would be 29995 if I reordered a 23 by my math.
not sure what it is for the 22 currently after price hikes.
If price protection is honored, it was 27030...
Of course that also came with 1.9% financing which is long gone...
Getting delayed and rolled over would cost $4000+ by my...
Thread title basically says it all... they pushed back the last build week for 2022s so now I will be getting built just in time to get my 2022. Will be interesting to see if I still get my price and financing rate protection.
This pisses me off because I ordered almost the same truck TWO MONTHS EARLIER and didn't reorder from granger to save 3% because I didn't want to lose my place... And I'm getting rolled over. Ford sucks.
Seriously... Who makes these calls?
"We've jerked them around for a year... Told them they have to reorder the next year's model... Then jerked them around again and pushed that back six weeks."
"Should we tell them the incentive we're giving them to make up for pulling the price and financing...
Sure why not. Now I will be literally just reordering a 2023 after MORE THAN A YEAR of being jerked around and never getting my 2022. Meanwhile guys who ordered months after me have gotten their trucks (in some cases multiple trucks) and flipped them for $10k profit because for some reason Ford...
News in my feed that it's looking like Dodge is announcing a maverick competitor soon. They drew up a perspective image that shows a really nice looking std cab... If they'res gonna be one with 30+ mpg...
Honestly, I would be happy just to know the discount we are getting for getting our 22s cancelled after waiting a year for them. Still no word on that either, right?
A new Diesel truck seems like an absolutely horrible business decision to me (Diesel is pushing $10/gal), so I doubt that's it. I'm pretty sure I saw an article claiming "Thunder" Mavs and Rangers were supposed to be the high end "Off-road" focused trim.
That said, didn't EU pass a law...
I graduated college the year my MAV was SUPPOSED to be built... If they don't honor the incentive because they delayed it MORE THAN A YEAR... I'm going to be pissed.
