Before doing anything, I'd scrub the area a bit with a wet magic eraser and wipe it off, then decide how much you think it's worth to get t fixed. I'm always amazed at how much of the scuffing and paint transfer cleans up with a magic eraser. Be a little more careful if you scrub on the...
After reading about how commonly this happens, I 3D printed a clip that goes in the middle seatbelt receiver that blocks the passenger from accidentally trying to buckle in there.
One wrinkle with CommaAI is that many of the new models are starting to have some of their interfaces encrypted to prevent things like Comma AI from being able to control the operation of the vehicle.
How’s that going to work with the bigger screen and no cubby for the mount to go in, or do they have a different model for the 2025 that mounts differently?
If I had bought an XLT, I believe I would have come to regret it. The difference between an XLT optioned as I would have and an Lariat, was under $2k when I bought mine, but I see now that it is a little under $3k with today’s pricing 🤨
The features of the Lariat that I use every day are...
The color I’m looking to match is the “accent” color, it is not as not as obvious in the 2025, since they don’t use it in the tray liners etc. The color is used on the outboard side of the door pulls and as an accent on the front of the vents. The stitching in the interior also matches it a...
With no gap between the bed and the cab for water to drain away, Water just kind of gets trapped between the canopy and the cab, on top of the front rail. It seems like most of the foam tape seals that they normally use with canopies will eventually allow water to soak through
I was hoping you wanted to trade the other way and I was going to say I could stop by on my way through Utah next week, but I’m in the same boat as you. Right now, I’m just looking for a set of 17” dark gray or black take offs to mount more winter appropriate tires on.
70 is not the width, it is the aspect ratio, which translates to height
245 is the width, which is wider than 235
The 245/65R17 that you are suggesting are 0.4” wider and 0.42” shorter than the 235/70R17 that I have been considering, so the tires you are suggesting would stick out more.
I haven't fully explored Forscan as it relates to the Maverick. It's possible that there is something that can be tweaked in Forscan to allow it to operate with a Trailer attached.
Mine did, but it is a trimmed down version, only about 160 pages, so it may not get into the details of Lane centering as it relates to trailer towing.
I know Blue Cruise on my Lightning will not work when a trailer is connected, so I suspect the line of logic is consistent across models
To add another anecdotal data point to the discussion. My 2025 Lariat Hybrid got "stuck" in FordPass yesterday for the 1st time at the hotel we stayed at last night, about 300 miles away. No amount of refreshing the location would have any effect, so I decided to try pulling the 11/12 fuse...
Mine replaced a 2018 Cadillac CT6 PHEV. I will miss that car for it's luxury, perfomance, features and economy, but RWD and sport tires made it garage decoration for 6 months out of the year.
The Maverick wiil be far more versatile and nearly as economical, but I'll really miss being set back...
Nice, I printed one of the F-150 versions from Makerworld, and they fit the Lightning perfectly, but did not fit the maverick well. I’ll print a set of these for the Maverick
