I still think you are missing something.
I'm not saying mine was a little off yours.
I'm saying in mine I think it is IMPOSSIBLE for my MG1 to be stationary at 5600 RPM engine and 58 MPH.
Which would imply HF45 and HF55 are vastly different. And I don't think that is the case.
Yes.
I've run mine 40-41 psi continuously.
Tread life is better than average.
Even wear. 48 psi is fine for the tires if you are OK with it.
Lower psi is an advantage for snow and sand. If like me you are never in snow or sand, higher psi is the way to go.
(And should you find yourself in...
@heady
You've said a lot and done a lot of thinking. But you are missing something.
I have the FWD HF45 but I think you'll agree it is remarkably similar.
But my MG1 is standing still, not spinning, at low throttle and low engine rpm.

When young, it "feels good" doing an oil change. You get a hit of dopamine having fresh oil in there.
At some point in life, age 45 for some, 65 for others the balance beam tips.
At some point in life you get a dopamine hit from keeping that oil in there as long as possible.
My see-saw has...
While not super aerodynamic the Maverick is somewhat aerodynamic.
Expensive professional engineering and testing went into the design.
Any body mods you do are likely to make the aero drag worse.
The Hybrid's Electric A-C can draw up to 3,500 watts at the highest setting.
3,500w / 746 w/hp = 4.69 horsepower.
But the small HVB can power that A-C for only a few minutes. So you have to run a big ~150 HP gas engine more of the DRIVE TIME to keep A-C running.
1. Slow down. By 1, 2, or 3 MPH. You'll hardly notice driving. But MPG will go up substantially.
2. Drive downhill more. No seriously. A huge advantage I found was, if available; drive the steep way up and the gradual way down.
3. Don't carry extra weight
4. Use seat/wheel heaters & fan...
The first few times I wasn't sure if I was hallucinating or something. It was kind of subliminal since let's face it, there's not a lot of reasons to hit the + button.
But last weekend I really NEEDED it. And it wasn't there. Then. Later it was there.
Now that I'm consciously looking, I noted...
In Tow/Haul the fake shift isn't present or at least not sensed by this driver if your foot is near the floor.... example accelerating from zero to 60 uphill with a large trailer behind.
Brakes are NOT like "slippery".
But it may have felt like that by coincidence if your HVB was over ~65% and...
100,000 miles is nothing.
Just a little past broken in, really.
The batteries are warranted for 100,000 miles.
Not pro-rated. You get a free replacement at 99,999.
What manufacturer is going to risk cutting that warranty close?
200k easy.
350k possible.
But other stuff could wear out before...
When backing to a trailer, often I am in and out of the truck several times. Making adjustments several times of just feet or inches. Seat belt is not needed. If I'm not in a parking lot I am in my own driveway or yard. And I'm in and out more if the camera is on the fritz.
After rear camera software update a new undesirable effect / glitch has surfaced in mine. Check yours and let me know.
Now, when I start the truck, put it in reverse, the camera comes on quickly as it should.
BUT THERE IS NO *️⃣ button to zoom in on my trailer ball.
So annoying.
Now I do...
People who see Bigfoot see something.
They are not making it up.
Most are bears walking on two legs.
Occasionally it is a person in a costume.
But people believe what they want to believe.
Does your "OEM" manual say fill to the max line every time? Or is that your personal belief...
"All Electric" is what has happened since the last key cycle.
Sometimes the "All Electric" will persist for 10 to 30 seconds after the gas engine starts. Just the way it is.
"Electric" is what it is currently doing at this second.
