I had a noise that I was hearing as well, it turned out to be my hitch receiver moving around in the rear bed side storage bins. I added a towel around it to dampen and haven't heard anything since.
I have used the FL400S since my first oil change. It gives me a little more peace of mind and no mods needed. I don't see any reason to go bigger especially since I'm doing roughly 4500 mile OCIs. I certainly wouldn't bend something to make a large one fit.
I have disabled this in every vehicle that has ever had it. I want to control my volume. The car doesn't know if I'm on a worn asphalt highway or a freshly paved one. Road noise varies significantly.
Dave Allen, There is a lot of useful information in this thread. I hope it is not too complex.

I can summarize by saying you need start by "Ripping" the music from a CD to a computer, which of course, requires a...
The 2022 and 2023 models ranked in the Top 10 for re-sale value by KBB, but who knows what is in store for the economy and what will happen as supply exceeds demand on these trucks and the lots start to fill up with un-sold models. It isn't something I worry about since I plan to keep my truck...
Never an issue with me, but the '25 might be in a different location due to the new screen layout. FYI, the location of the USB ports is different on the Lariat. Mine are almost all the way on the left of the console and even the passenger knees don't seem to affect them. The push button is also...
When I posted that, I hadn't read the other supporting documents, just the form that was mailed. I really hope this whole 'recall' isn't to upgrade to G2.2 because a good portion of us have already done that upgrade (including me). I still have long delays occasionally for the camera to come on...
Just use the power button plus >> and hold for 10 seconds. Don't bother contacting anyone. Nothing will fix the glitches in this vehicle when it comes to the infotainment system. They just cheaped out too much on the hardware.
The wording of my recall doesn't say anything about an existing '24 software update to fix. It says there is not currently a fix and to wait until notified. I'm pretty sure, the model year 24 CTR units are also included in this recall. (or at least those built up until Nov 28, 2023?)
The factory Pirelli Scorpions with the FX4 package have held up well for me. 16,500 miles, one rotation, and I'm still at 8/32 on both axles with nice even wear. Of course, I drive pretty much opposite of the OP. I'm easy around corners, brake gently, accelerate modestly, unless there is some...
Glitches in the screen/infotainment system are so common, I'm surprised you haven't experienced it more often. I have to do the Power button + >> at least a few times a month to clear up issues.
I wouldn't even bother mentioning it to the dealer unless it becomes a frequent issue (ie: several...
One possible cause that may differ between Tow Haul and normal mode is torque converter lockup. I'm pretty sure Tow Haul disables that. I know in many high mileage auto trans, that can be one of the first problems to show itself as a shudder/slip feeling when it tries to do lockup for...
I just so happened to hand wash my Mav yesterday also...the difference was, it was dark by the time I finished, and I was so tired and hungry, I was more worried about getting a meal and sitting down to rest. No photo, no beer, no tunes. I must be getting old.
This update came for me about a month ago (Aug 27th according to Google Play). The Distance/Percentage was added at that time. Prior to that, there was an update that only showed percentage and many folks complained. The biggest issue I have with the app is the removal of the ability to upload...
Pure money making motivation. Dealer fees, financing fees, profit on selling your low-ball trade in value, profit on the '24, plus they probably push extended warranty (more profit). You get the idea. IMO, Keep your '22.
