I have the same tires in 245/70. They have 40k on them now and they're still going strong. Be sure to rotate and balance, they don't like to stay in the same position for eternity.
This is what I decided to do. I have since changed because I get bored. But the lights were/are great. The mount worked great however I suggest adding an extra bracket from the top to the lower grill for stability.
So, I've had that infamous dash rattle since about, 6k miles. I now have 41k. The noise has disappeared, almost like the 2 parts that were making contact to cause the noise in the first place have worn down. Maybe higher mileage is something to look forward to, being there's no answer as of yet.
On this thread I see FOMOCO replied as I've seen them do numerous times. While I would think its greatly appreciated, does anyone know from first hand experience if they follow through? I haven't had an opportunity to see being the messages are done privately after the initial contact.
Wow... I actually forgot about a few things. Lift kit, cruise control, being I have a 22 xl, window tint, bed cubby, bed lights,bed rails and hold downs. It just keeps going and going. I did, however dave a bunch by doing everything myself.
Oh yes..... many many members have posted about this noise. I have my suspicions, that's why I'm asking if it went away when anyone's windshield was replaced.
