So your knowledge of Fords makes no difference to why Ford made this decision 50 something years later. Obviously the Maverick of the past was a 4 door car with a trunk, not a little pick up body like the RANCHERO.
Actually I'm glad yours is fwd. Now it makes me think outside the box a little further. Hopefully I can prove that the rear driveline is not at fault here. Thanks
Is your truck AWD? I have the same issue. It's seems to be caused by something in the rear. That's why the truck shakes and not the steering wheel. I haven't solved the problem yet but I'm starting to go down the road of rear cv axles this time. I've already had both fronts replaced twice for...
One more question. If you don't mind.
I love that roof rack and saw that you have a Prinsu. I've been looking, how did you find the Maverick application?
Looks great. I have a question. I've been looking at that roof rack for a bit now and I'm curious of how much wind noise it makes. I've waited to see someone with it to ask.
I wouldn't say the lift causes axle failure. I would say the amount of lift does. When you take a moment and stare at it long enough you can see, the geometry just isn't right.
Verified! The stock steelie with the stock size tire DOES fit all that needs to done is bend the saw tooth thing out a little. I'm not sure what it's actually called
Thx for the info so far. Yes I am quite aware that the button is on the dash now. I am trying to semi permanently disable it in Forscan. As far as the pscm it is not listed this way in Forscan for a Tremor. Also the values listed everywhere I can find are different for the Tremor. Im pretty...
So after a while of playing around and searching all over I am not able to disable auto start/stop on my buddy's Tremor. Most of the info out there does not apply. Forscan info displays differently than other models . Anyone out there have the Forscan procedure to get it done on a Maverick Tremor?
Soooo... i have had a similar issue.
Ford has a few TSB's on this exact issue. The cv axles have known issues. They will be replaced a couple of times until the latest update of the part, fixes the problem. Im on my 3rd set.
