  1. Comparing old to the new: 1963 Ranchero Deluxe Cab vs. 2024 Maverick

So your knowledge of Fords makes no difference to why Ford made this decision 50 something years later. Obviously the Maverick of the past was a 4 door car with a trunk, not a little pick up body like the RANCHERO.
  2. Dash Rattle - anyone else?

My dash rattle stopped completely when my winshield was replaced.
  3. Comparing old to the new: 1963 Ranchero Deluxe Cab vs. 2024 Maverick

This is why I've always wondered why Ford chose the Maverick name and didn't name this little truck, the Ranchero
  4. Maverick odometer poll - how many miles have you driven?

66k. Been Maine to Florida. Michigan to Texas. South Carolina numerous times. Heading to Missouri in 2 weeks!
  5. Cab Shake/Tremble at 80mph (Is there a fix?) LONG READ

Actually I'm glad yours is fwd. Now it makes me think outside the box a little further. Hopefully I can prove that the rear driveline is not at fault here. Thanks
  6. Cab Shake/Tremble at 80mph (Is there a fix?) LONG READ

Is your truck AWD? I have the same issue. It's seems to be caused by something in the rear. That's why the truck shakes and not the steering wheel. I haven't solved the problem yet but I'm starting to go down the road of rear cv axles this time. I've already had both fronts replaced twice for...

  9. Updated! My 2024 Maverick Lariat Hybrid Build

Thank you for the info. I actually meant the The purchase of the rack. I can't find a listing for a maverick on Prinsu's website.
  10. Updated! My 2024 Maverick Lariat Hybrid Build

One more question. If you don't mind. I love that roof rack and saw that you have a Prinsu. I've been looking, how did you find the Maverick application?
  11. Updated! My 2024 Maverick Lariat Hybrid Build

Looks great. I have a question. I've been looking at that roof rack for a bit now and I'm curious of how much wind noise it makes. I've waited to see someone with it to ask.
  12. New Tires and Lift: 2" Rough Country Lift Kit + 245/70/17 Falken Wildpeak AT3W

I wouldn't say the lift causes axle failure. I would say the amount of lift does. When you take a moment and stare at it long enough you can see, the geometry just isn't right.
  13. New Tires and Lift: 2" Rough Country Lift Kit + 245/70/17 Falken Wildpeak AT3W

Agreed! I also had the same lift. 3 axle replacements and I removed 1 inch from the front to correct some geometry. But nice truck!
  14. Can a stock 17inch steel wheel be used as a full size spare with a set of 18inch wheels?

Verified! The stock steelie with the stock size tire DOES fit all that needs to done is bend the saw tooth thing out a little. I'm not sure what it's actually called
  15. Can a stock 17inch steel wheel be used as a full size spare with a set of 18inch wheels?

Those wheels look pretty sharp on the Mav. Answer to your question. Is yes. Overall your tire height should be similar to be correct.
  16. Tremor As/s disable

Thx for the info so far. Yes I am quite aware that the button is on the dash now. I am trying to semi permanently disable it in Forscan. As far as the pscm it is not listed this way in Forscan for a Tremor. Also the values listed everywhere I can find are different for the Tremor. Im pretty...
  17. Tremor As/s disable

So after a while of playing around and searching all over I am not able to disable auto start/stop on my buddy's Tremor. Most of the info out there does not apply. Forscan info displays differently than other models . Anyone out there have the Forscan procedure to get it done on a Maverick Tremor?
  18. What's your Maverick mileage and ownership time?

  19. CV axle and posibly engine and transmition mounts Issues

Soooo... i have had a similar issue. Ford has a few TSB's on this exact issue. The cv axles have known issues. They will be replaced a couple of times until the latest update of the part, fixes the problem. Im on my 3rd set.
