Hey there. Ive been through 3 sets of axles. They will cover it a few times. Once they dont, then do yourself a favor and spend the extra on the Tremor axles. Way way better. And much stronger. They fit right in there. Proven!
I would think what's most important is more than one option. To start it would be fit. Which becomes the appearance. Then durability comes in for the long haul.
I agree! In all my decades of being a pro tech, I have never ever seen a gas tank with water in it unless someone put it there. The only true statement I've read here is that your fuel pump uses the gasoline like coolant. So if anyone is running their vehicle all the way to empty, you've...
I too have both recalls. Ford currently is still scrambling find a fix for both. But here's the Kicker. I was denied trading my truck in , as I've had multiple transmission issues that never end . I was told they wouldn't accept my trade because they can't re sell it. Needless to say I had...
When installed and positioned properly, the cover is relatively water tite. Recently I found the manufacturers are adding in a clay substance to fill the seems/gaps on the bed top plastic rail covers. Try adding that to yours and see how you do after the next car wash
Congrats on ur Truck. I absolutely love that green. Had it been available or any green been available in 2021 when I ordered mine, I would've gotten it. Good luck with your new toy
I feel your pain. I to had my trans replaced in October. At 71k. As crazy as this is, it is in for another one. The replacement needed replacing at only 3k. Slipped and literally banged into gears.
So now I'm waiting for it to be completed. Apparently these transmissions are NOT readily...
I've had my Maverick for 3 years now as of 11/4. And i now have 74k on it. It is lifted 2 inches, or i should say, was. I've had a few issues. Axles replaces 3 times. Since the last time ive taken an inch out of the front and they've been ok. Most recently the trans was replaced. Now it's...
I see everyone concerned with speedo accuracy and mpg. There's no need to consider any.of that. One of the stock sizes is a 235/65/17 you can enter it in through forscan and your truck will adjust itself. It is the largest tire option.
I have the awd w/ 4k tow and I also tow about 4k with a camper and all the gear that goes with it. I have to say, that the Maverick does handle it very well. Ive had my share of issues and now getting ready to tackle another, but as far as the axles.... I took delivery of my truck 11/21 and...
