I found my local Ford dealership offered me more than Carvana, etc by $1K. Additionally, it turns out that when one trades in their vehicle at the dealership (at least in MN), only the difference between the new car cost and the trade in value is taxed ($32K new price, trade in $18K, the sales...
Sorry to read of the engine block heater leaking; I have one and will keep an eye on the coolant level. Being 2022 is the first production year, issues are bound to show up. Really pleased to hear your dealership is doing the right thing, which I have come to expect from mine (repeat customer).
Iām 6ā at 220 and my son is 6ā4ā at 350+, we both fit comfortably. I have an xlt and son has lariat, both 2.0/AWD
Steers like a truck, handles like a suv, has a FULL WRAP bumper; affordable with mileage at acceptable mpgā¦..
My wife doesnāt like the xlt seats, says the Maverick is ok (momma likes the wrap around steel front bumper) so Iād say yeah to Lincoln comfortable upgraded front seats, but keep the Maverick as is and where made otherwise.
Just finished my first highway trip by myself and no cargo that was on flat terrain, included a little stop and go traffic and using the a/c half of the distance, got 33.6 mpg using 91 octane fuel.
My Mav is an XLT, 2.0, AWD, 4K tow, 360 Pilot, Panda drop in liner with 17ā alloy wheels with...
I think having the XLT Lux package with a bedliner (sprayed or drop in) makes a big difference. All terrain tires are always a little ( a lot depending on aggressive tread) noisier. No complaints with noise for meā¦.
Yes, I didā¦..new model, difficult supply chain almost guaranteeās part price increases, no matter where you are there is a local Ford dealership to take it to and when you do the math, the monthly cost is worth not having a major hit to the pocketbook. Pay your monies or take your chances, itās...
Not good. May seem stupid, but try soft soap and water with a soft cloth on scratches, anything left over would be on the dealership; seats, no question. With constraints, maybe getting a credit in the service department would work, maybe not.
When trading out the stock front floor mats with WeatherTechs, the thought occurred to me that these floor mats could be used behind the rear seat to hopefully reduce road noise and shield the cab from cold and heat. In giving it a try, I found that yes, they both fit nicely (floor side facing...
Havenāt seen one on the road or at the local Ford dealership. Just yesterday I saw a Santa Cruz and while it does have flair in its styling, the Maverick just flat looks better!
Ordered my CG, 2.0, Lux, Pilot 360, engine block heater, Tow with 17ā alloy wheels coming with 235/17R AT tires in August. Later, in September when driving by the local DMV, on a whim, I went in asking if MAV XLT license plate was available? No, but XLT MAV was. Could I reserve it? No, but I...
Page 172 of the owners manual says 87 octane is ok, but for best performance, especially summertime including towing, 91 is the way to go. For me, Iām using 91 wanting a cleaner combustion to avoid carbon buildup on the valves (full disclosure, I have Buscherās catch can as well) and having...
I think of the driving modes as paddle shifters but instead of higher or lower gears, for type of drive. For me, I use eco mode mostly and tow when in heavy traffic or city hills cause I would rather have the revs instead of lugging the engine (driving preference). Once I over 1k miles, sport...
