You are probably right. Lane centering requires adaptive cruise control which requires the bliss sensor on the front. I think that only comes on a Lariat
I thought most modern vehicles ran the AC with the defrost. They are trying to protect the seals to keep them from leaking., though I don't see that as an issue with electric AC. That is mostly for ACs driven off drive pulleys.
If you get a lot of snow you may want to get different tires. All seasons don't cut it in deep snow. I couldn't get my 96 4X4 Ranger stuck. Tires matter.
The way I understand how these things work is it amplifies the current that is already in the battery so if it is totally dead, there is nothing to amplify. Even with booster cables, you can't jump through a dead battery.
I think Autowit is the one I have. It is the one Scotty Kilmer recommended. I got one of the jump boxes that I ordered from Ford Accessories yesterday. I have had boxes go completely dead on me if I didn't use them, so that is why I got the supercapacitor to begin with. I will carry both along...
I didn’t think my seats were comfortable at first either. It was just a matter of getting them adjusted to suit my back. Keep moving the seat around. You will find a good spot
Has anybody used a jump box that uses a capacitor to jump their hybrid Maverick? I have one of these jump boxes but I never needed to use it. I wonder how they work on a hybrid. Not having to charge it appeals to me, though it probably won't work on a totally flat battery.
I didn't know they were fined. I guess $165 Million is a drop in the bucket to them. I read yesterday that Tesla has a recall on backup cameras now. Videos take a lot of processing power. All these Mavericks sitting on dealer lots that they can't deliver have to be costing them too. I haven't...
Lariats aren't in the recall since they have sync 3, I would bet upgrading to sync 3 or 4 will solve the problem which suggests to me that the whole issue is the display on XLT and XL isn't fast enough to handle the data stream from the camera. That is just my guess. Probably doesn't have enough...
I am not talking about pushing a darn button every time you start your vehicle. We should have the option to disable it by default and only turn it on when we want it on. I know you have a button to turn it off but you have to push the button every time you start the vehicle
I saw a video on YouTube where a guy was hooking up one of these behind the OBD port but the dealer may try to void your warranty if they see it? I saw another video years ago where a guy pulled the button out and put a jumper in it to disable the auto start/stop. He was doing it with an F150...
didn't they raise the prices on the 2025s by $3000? There are some improvements but I am not a fan of putting all the HVAC controls on the information screen. I prefer physical buttons. I am wondering how many hoops one would have to jump through to get sync 4 to work on a 2022-24 Maverick
