Mine seems to get the warmest at 9 and 3. The rest of the wheel doesn't get nearly as warm.

12v battery died or the HV battery died? I would think only the HV battery would be covered under 8 year /100k-mile warranty. The 12v would be under the standard 36/36 warranty.

Flooded batteries should stay near 100% charge. It is the high voltage batteries that need to stay between 20-80% charge. The big battery charges the little 12v battery and the drive motors charge the big battery.

I doubt you will have to pay for this software update. It is a known issue that you have been having problems with. It may end up being another recall.

There is supposed to be a software fix coming in Q1 2025. All these battery charging issues concerns me since I just got my 24 Lariat in Nov
