  1. build week changed again

What I don't understand is how the estimates can be so terrible. I received an email last week saying I was rescheduled for next week. OK. It happens. Then this week I'm told via chat that I've been bumped 5 more weeks to the end of July. How does that happen? Missing your schedule by...
  2. No email, but got a VIN & Build date from Customer Service today (Lariat Lux)

Just chatted with them. Moved to July 25. Never received an email, even though next week is only 5 days away.
  3. So close! (and yet so far...)

Agreed. But the post I was responding to made no sense...
  4. So close! (and yet so far...)

I got my vin and original scheduling from ford chat, but the last two scheduling updates have come via email. Strange how inconsistent they are from person to person.
  5. So close! (and yet so far...)

Did you get emails for all the bumps? I got one for scheduling (week of 6/13) and then on 6/7 I got one saying I was bumped to week of 6/20. Since I haven't heard from this week, I'm hopeful I'm still scheduled for next week.
  6. So close! (and yet so far...)

what are you talking about? 2022s will be built at least through September.
  7. No email, but got a VIN & Build date from Customer Service today (Lariat Lux)

damn. That's a big shift. Haven't received an email since the last shift. Hoping I'm still on the schedule for next week. Maybe I should try the chat.
  8. FRANKFORT FORD SOLD MY MAVERICK WITHOUT CONTACTING ME!

Lost profits are damages. The op was definitely going to sell it for 12k over purchase price, right op?
  9. hauling....why fake shifts in tow mode

Lol. I guess everything can compost, just might take a few billion years!
  10. Can the Maverick Hybrid hit 260HP? Lincoln figured out a way to do it...

Overrated issue. My duratec 2.0 looked spotless when I opened it up at 150k to replace the $15 vvt solenoids. Synthetic oil every 10-15k miles and past 6k rpms at least once per week may have helped? I wouldn't shy away from a Ford DI engine. Only thing that annoyed me was that it seems like...
  11. $3,000 OFF - DEAL CLOSED - Fight OFF the Price Increase with Granger Ford

It definitely seems to be the case. Lots of bitching, but no data showing that it's not accurate.
  12. Leaning XL Hybrid for August order

That's a bit of a red flag, imo. If last year has taught us anything, it's that you want an informed dealer. Find one that has their shit together so that you know your order goes in correctly in the first few minutes of the system going live.
  13. All September orders

I was told 6/6 via chat, first email was for 6/13, and got a bump to 6/20 today via email. Hopefully no more push backs for either of us!
  14. Blue Oval inside joke?

mine works again today (not the link in the email, but https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking) for the first time in a couple of weeks. Has probably worked 6 out of 100 times.
  15. Customer service not helpful

Exactly the same? Trim, options, etc? And in the same region of the country?
  16. MPG using different grades of fuel

A bit over simplified, in my opinion. What do you think the ecu does if it detects detonation? It can retard ignition timing. That can absolutely have a detrimental effect on mpg.
  17. Dead Maverick Hybrid with <2000 miles

If it's a relatively simple cable, rather than a complex harness, you'd think a dealership could fabricate something meeting Ford specs rather than wait a month.
  18. $3,000 OFF - DEAL CLOSED - Fight OFF the Price Increase with Granger Ford

Ah. Got it. So allocations for a month are for scheduling, not building. So, I guess I got one of the April allocations.
