@Buschur I would assume that not only does this help in performance gains when upgrading/tuning but also would help prevent knock/ping on a stock truck towing near the max in hot/mountain towing?
Not quite. Considering one as a cheap way to get the family camping. 5 people, all our crap, and a popup camper.
Maverick plus pop up is cheaper than a F150 so we're seriously considering it.
The options that come with the associated trims......
Again I've found XL hybrids with almost 1600 pounds, and Lariat 2.0 fully loaded as low as almost 1200.
I'm not talking about drivetrain options. I know those are the same.
What I'm asking for is a XL with almost no options. No factory bed covers, no moonroof, no heated seats or other crap. The maximum payload.
I've seen XLTs in the low 1400s, and I've seen hybrids I'm pretty sure near 1600. So...
Can anyone in here share the payload of a XL 4K, fewer the options the better.
I've seen payloads for higher trims, and I've seen payloads for hybrids. But can't find a XL 4K
It's a common trend anymore that unless some decent modification is done a stock intake is best. They are designed to suck in cold air from a fender or some kind of front scoop.
Most aftermarket designs are open under the hood getting that warmed air
You have to remember it's not just weight of the item your towing. It's also wind resistance and overall size.
Just for shits and giggles I looked up a travel trailer that falls under that weight. 3800 dry (yeah I know all our stuff etc but I'm ignoring that) but it's 23 feet long, 10 feet...
Thankfully order banks are closed until at least August.
That give plenty of time with warm weather to see how the 2.0 AWD does. The mileage that's barely better than my current trucks is a reason I didn't jump on the 2.0
So those who are buying out of state and making a decent treck (I'm talking 6 to 8 hour 1 way), are you waiting until you get to the dealership to do paperwork, or doing before hand?
I plan on ordering come this summer, and depending on what deals out of state dealerships are offering I might...
That's the part number for the correct key pad......
There are 2 key pads. One for vehicles with remote start on the key fob and one for vehicles without.
OP linked the keypad for remote start vehicles, which XL doesn't have.
I've been looking for one ever since people started reporting getting theirs. Before today I've only ever seen 1 driving around in our area.
There was a Bronco Sport sitting next to it in Cactus Grey, the Maverick was Area 51. I'm glad that was the case because I thought CG was more greenish...
So every weekend when we're out and about I check dealer website near where we will be to see if they have any Mavericks.
Well today I check and a dealer nearby says they have 14 in stock. Not in transit, not pending sale, nothing that would indicate they weren't there.
Well we get done and I...
How did you add lumbar support? Just put a pillow behind you?
I'm contemplating going cheap as possible but the lumbar support of the XLT LUX seats is making me second guess going cheap.
Ok I missed that part. I was thinking this was just your typical PCV catch can setup.
Had me concerned that much gas was coming from the crank case! Ha
Unless the Maverick catch can system is different than others, that seems like a lot of raw gas going through the crank case.
Is that just a side effect of the turbo or is there something else going on?
